    This item wasn't able to connect with all of the normal ways. It has a special unique connection. My new Samsung TV didn't have that particular hookup.

    the build quality is good, but there's insufficient clearance for the optical cable (needs more offset from the wall). Be sure to get a right-angle connector end or you will damage your TOS cable.
