I recently bought the Sony 100-400mm zoom lens and wanted to be able to zoom in even further using this teleconverter. Although you lose roughly a stop and half of light, the autofocus works perfectly and the image quality shows no loss.

I also own Canon RF extender which is terrible compare to this. It is definitely pricey than Canon and Nikon but hey you get what you for.

The 1.4x teleconverter is perfect when its necessary to get in close without intruding or spooking wildlife I use this with Sony 7RIV and A9 with the FE 200-600 lens. Make sure you check Sony product guide to confirm which body/lens combo before purchasing

Sony 1.4x Teleconverter
