||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is an OK lens for the mirror-less a6XXX series of Sony cameras. It is moderate sized which is a plus on these small bodies. Images are acceptably sharp. The single negative, which I knew going in, is that f4 is the widest aperture. F2.8 or F2 would give much better defocus of the background and forground. But I really wanted this for landscape photos and it does give a very deep depth of field even at F8. 35mm equiv is 15mm-24mm which slightly overlaps the low end of normal and long zooms.
