I have to say Im loving this thing so far. Upgraded from an LG that had very inconsistent volume levels that would fluctuate and you couldnt even see an indicator of sound like vol 15 vs 25. The sony is beautiful, you run your hdmi connections through this to the tv, you get the volume levels and a host of other features. But the best part is the sound. Watching my favorite movies and hbo series on the lg was a horrible experience when at higher levels the sound just wasnt crisp. The sony is very clear with good bass. I couldnt gice it 5 stars because it feels like the volume is low between 1-16 range, almost like level 16 should be its 1. You dang near have to crank it to 80% plus but after that its just what I needed.

I have a Sony 4K TV, so I got this sound bar for compatibility. Hooking everything up was a breeze, the only part of the setup I didn't like was figuring out how get the HDMI ARC and sound bar to display the 4K picture from my PS4 PRO. That and it doesn't always display the volume on screen when you use the actual sound bar remote, maybe it might be something I'm doing wrong. All and all, for the price, sound quality and features it's worth it!

the soundbar w/ wireless sub woofer was a great addition to our Sony tv. Looks great and connected very easily to my tv as well as my smart phone through bt. The reason for 4 stars is I am not impressed with it's overall volume loudness. It could be a little louder when turned up to 100%

Bought this as per best buy customers recommendation but returned back the next day. Reason; dialogues are not audible and had to cranked up the volume to listen to the dialogues. Night mode nothing helps at all. This sound bar has good cinematic sound effects. Subwoofer is subpar as well with non impressive bass.

We finally bought a soundbar for our new tv. We used to have the old fashioned surround sound with the huge equipment. I was not excited about spending money for volume. . but turns out that the sound was worth it. No more raising the volume (even on new tv's) to hear the show since the speakers are in the back of each tv. And no more clunky stereo type equipment!

Good soundbar, cheap sub setup. Limited settings.

The soundbar sounds good. It is a little bright but still 9/10 SQ. The subwoofer is lightweight, but actually sounds decent. The problem I've is that there is no tuning/crossover options for subwoofer, it cuts on randomly as it detects bass. Eg. If I'm watching the news and a deep voice begins speaking, the sub 'jumps' in, it's not a smooth transition and my SW volume is on 1. I put the sub all the way across the living room and I still hear it cut in and out. I've gone back to my standalone sub...no other use for this one as connection is Sony wireless, no buttons on the sub at all.
