It is a great sound bar and works great via Optical audio cable but to fully take advantage of this sound bar you may need HDMI ARC or may need an additional HDMI port to properly configure it. Other than that sound is great and it is much better than tv speakers. Bass need to be tuned to the max to make a difference and to fully enjoy. This sound bar is great if you want great sound but don't want to run additional wires for a sound bar + subwoofer. It also streams bluetooth audio but I noticed a slight delay. I don't know if it was my budget bluetooth speakers or if it was the sound bar.

This soundbar is great fit for my mid size room. pros: - Build quality is great - It connects to tv via arc htmi with no problem and i can control my volume either with soundbar remote or tv remote. It turns on automatically with tv as well. - can connect to other devices via bluetooth for audio. - auto updates firmware via network - audio quality is much better than 40' tv cons: - Sub-woofer is decent, and sometimes it's hard to hear speech or dialogs (clear audio does not help a lot) - so I have to lower sw level. - Maximum volume is pretty low, but 50% is enough for my room. - google cast receiver works only with audio (am i asking too much? :)) Overall it is a good product for it's price.

It would be great if TVs came with wonderful sound. But that is not how products are made these days. You have to find the right soundbar to supplement your TV purchase. I always buy a matching brand, because I know the products will work well together. This one does the job for any Sony TV. You can certainly do better for your primary TV, but I like this one as a basic option for our bedroom TV.

I accidentally stumbled across this product and it's exactly what I wanted. I had no desire for a ton of bass with an external subwoofer. This product packages everything together as one and handily supplants the TV speakers. I also love that I can connect my iPhone through bluetooth and play music.

Like the look & the unit is definitely well made. Easy to handle. It was easy to set up, especially if you have a Sony TV. Picture is very clear, good options, great performance. These are all good for a small HD TV. But, it's only a 2.1 channel which my Sony 60" TV speakers are 5.1. I was not getting any better or louder tones when I hooked up the receiver; it was even lower volume because of the 2.1 channel. So, unfortunately, I had to take it back. Very disappointed because I really liked the unit.

I really like this sound bar. Would've been better with a subwoofer but still sounds great.

We like this sounder because it delivers the sound that is missing from the built in TV speakers using a small footprint that doesn't take up much space, which is what we were looking for. There are no separate pieces like the subwoofer and satellites to worry about. If it's superior surround or theater sound you're looking for, this are not for you. This suits our minimalistic needs perfectly and was easy to program with our cable remote. Vizio never disappoints.

This soundbar is a huge improvement over my TV's internal speakers. The subwoofer makes for a very full sound, and the different settings for music, voice and movie sound effects really emphasize the particular qualities of those sound sources.

I would recommend this sound bar. It has great sound and it is nice that you can put your TV on top of it. I use it in my bedroom and have the sound bar and TV on top of a dresser. The subwoofer adds a lot of bass.

I was reading reviews about this product about people who thought this wasn't loud enough. This soundbar is plently loud for what it is. Is it the loudest speaker in the world? No it isn't. But it does a great job for the size and For the price. If you want big sound, buy a bigger sound system. If you're looking for a sound bar to enhance your tv watching experience, get this.

Got a 4k TV that sets in a cabinet with speakers in the rear. TV sound really odd so purchase this sound bar and now I have sound the way it should be. Nice plus is Bluetooth to use headphones when playing games. Easy simple hookup and My Sony 4k TV picked it right up and can control it all from one remote. Sound and Base is better then I expected out of a soundbar at this price.

The sound quality is great & is Very easy to set up. I give it 4 stars because the sub is in the rear of the bar & takes away from the deep sound. It is my first sound bar & would recommend this one for any.

I think as per the price it is a decent product but if you can spend few more bucks (+50) there are various better options you can get. I bought Samsung K550 sound bar which has much better sound than this but it is little expensive in comparison. I like the Sony soundbar design but not the sound quality as much. Also, I was getting some issue in connecting it to my Samsung TV and called Sony support..unfortunately they did not support me in it and asked to contact Samsung support...dah! If you have a small room and have Sony tv it 's worth trying.

This sound base has a good quality for the price and sounds great in our living room. Our TV is a Sony as well and the TV speakers just were not good enough. This base compliments the TV and works awesome. Have it hooked to optical cable. Has volume and bass adjustments. Before you pay 300 for the more expensive ones take a look at this.

We have all SONY products. The set up was seamless with our Bravia. We have a 40 inch Bravia and it lifts it us so it actually makes the TV look bigger. Because it is under the TV it is eye height and easier to navigate than our sound bar with the subwoofer. We also have another sound bar with the subwoofer and you can't tell the difference with the built in subwoofer. Only thing is there is quite a delay when you turn on.

Very nice tv. Easy as heck to set up. Does everything for u, even learn ur remote for direct tv. Very pleased.

This all in one package sound bar is very convenient. Takes up less space which is a bonus. The Bluetooth transmitter works great. We put it in our living room which is pretty big and it even filled it up with sound pretty nicely. Can't go wrong with this due to the price. Highly recommended!

I actually have two of these sound bases; one in my living room and one in my bedroom. This sound base is great for home entertainment; it gives great sound when playing audio from television shows and movies. It also works great as a Bluetooth speaker for music from portable devices.

Second time I have purchased this item. This is a slightly upgraded model with enhanced features. Easy to install and use. Works with flat screen televisions perfectly. Easy to program and use daily. Great overall features.
