IOW, SB reads volume at 40, TV reads volume at 80. Haven't found a fix for this and my TV is a newer Sony. Given that, the sound is very good.

Turning on the TV using the HDMI-ARC usually woke up the unit from standby, but sometimes it did not. I had to disable the standby function.

The setup was quick and easy and I did not experience any problems. The sound quality is perfect for my bedroom which is approx. 12' x 12'. I tested it with my tv/cable box, Sony PS3 and Apple TV as well as playing music via BlueTooth directly thru my iPhone 6s Plus. Note that the SoundPal app is not available for iPad though I did not use it when I played music from my phone.
