I have a Sony 65” Bravia on it’s stands and not much room to place a larger sound bar to keep a clean look. This one is just right! Decided to give this a 4 stars as I have to turn up the volume over 80 to get that full affect... In its defense I have a larger living room. Love the product, Sony always makes quality in my eyes. Thank You!

Another Excellent Sony Product

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.nice affordable all in one sound bar. definitely increased our tv's volume at higher volume levels. which is exactly what we needed. because a fan running in the room was muffling the tv volume some. it's a little lower then the tv was at lower volume, but that isn't really a concern. if for some reason we wanted to hear it louder at a lower volume, switching off the sound bar automatically reverts to the tv's normal volume. good value for the price & added just enough extra sound for a spare room tv that isn't connected to our main family room sound system. since our tv is Sony also, the sync feature kicks in too. which is one added bonus feature that keeps me buying Sony products. the main reason I buy Sony is that I have found them to be reliable quality products & I have had no issues with Sony support when a rare issue has occurred. in fact I called them about a projection screen tv years ago when the warranty was expired. so I could purchase a replacement color block. they informed me that the part was defective & I would have to replace it every five years because of the defect. then they told me if I would prefer to purchase one of their newer flat screen tv's that they would give me a deep discount & boy did they. 60% off what I could have bought the same tv for in the store at the time. in fact we are still using that tv to this day. So Sony products for us until they lose my confidence & I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. in 30 plus years of buying Sony products, the aforementioned tv was my only product with an issue & they ended up doing us a solid on a replacement. Really the only reason we have found to replace our Sony products is when they become really out dated & there are lots of new features or significant output quality upgrades. in fact our current Tv's are HD & I told my wife, when one goes out I want to get a 4k & wouldn't you know it, they just keep on working just fine. so looks like based on technology my next upgrade will end up being 8k instead. Thanks Sony I'm definitely getting the bang for my buck.

Nice sound bar. Much better than TV’s output

Our TV, which is still fairly new, got moved to the bedroom. It had been hooked up to a nice sound bar system in the living room now being occupied by our new TV. The stock audio was so bad but we didn’t want a big booming sound bar and woofer combo like in the living room. This is perfect. Nice small size but still has a nice room filling sound. It’s connected to our LG Tv by an HDMI ARC input. Works perfectly. It turns on when you turn the tv on and the tv clicker can control the soundbar. No problems at all.

This sound bar is definitely better than the standard sound coming from my Sony Bravia smart TV. It will not blow your mind and make you think you're in a movie theater. You have to pay a lot more if that's what you want. I am glad I purchased it because dialogue in movies and TV shows is much easier to understand AND louder, and that's why I bought it. Great purchase for the price. I'd buy it again.

Works well in the small space I had available (no room for add'l subwoofer). Setup was simple, pretty much plug and play with HDMI arc TV and cable. The voice setting works well to better hear dialogue.
