This lens is on my Sony a6000 most of the time. It takes beautiful photos with great bokeh. I prefer it over my 50mm. There isn't another comparable lens in this price range.

Bought. This for mywifes a5000 added great capabilities. It is now here default lenses she uses as a prime lenses in addition to macro shots. Quality is amazing it's like jewelry.

I love taking macro shots, this lens just lets me get up close and personal with my subject. With clear detailed shots.

This is a must get. Sharp quality images up close. The details are phenomenal.

Purchased the lens as a Christmas gift. It has been one of the best gift I have given to my wife. She enjoys photography and has always been interested in taking it a step further. With this lens, the detail of a zoomed/close picture is incredible. Every detail is clear in the picture. It does take some time to get used to taking shots with it but if you are familiar with the camera, it shouldn't take long.

Love the pictures I get from this. Gives a nice vignetting on for frames.

I am enjoying this lens a lot. Very sharp images both indoors and out out. I use it on a Sony a6000 and you sometimes have to be a little patient with the AF but I'm getting some great images. If you want to have some fun with macro get this lens.

I am still learning the ropes of tight macro work. However, this gem of a lens is great at capturing sharp details. I will certainly suggest using a tripod while shooting. Any movement tends to leave one with some unintended blur. So far, I love what I've captured using this lens.

Great lens for macro imaging without breaking the bank. Perfect compatibility for the Sony A6000 body.

This Macro lens takes a little bit of patience. It doesn't focus very fast and it can be hard to get it to focus on what you want it to. When it does take a picture and when it comes out right it can be really amazing. It's fun to take pictures of ornate, intricate things such as jewelry or cars. I haven't been able to get an insect to sit still long enough to see how that goes. Enjoy your photos!

It's a nice macro lens. Do I think it was worth the dollar amount? No.

I am using this 30 mm macro lens with the light ring with seven adjustable features that provides me with just the proper lighting while shooting small objects, particularly jewelry.

I needed a macro lens for some close up shots. This provides clear images at close range on my Sony A6000. Best to use Sony lenses on Sony cameras in my opinion.

This is my all in one glass and gives me great detail in my macro and full-frame photography. If you looking for that extra oomph to your pictures then this lens is for you.

Pro The lens is quite light and it came with a hood. It can capture bugs that don't move. Cons You have to be real close to the subject to get a macro picture. Hopping bugs would jump by the time you get close to it.

Bought it for my girlfriend as a Christmas present, it's a good macro lense for the nex series, it works with both the new and old nex models.

I was looking for a simple lens and not to costly for a beginner. I found it and was able to try it out in store before purchasing.

This lens is a must have in my collection of lenses and probably one of my favorite lenses. It does macro shots very effectively. The DMF and MF works perfectly.
