The picture is good but the sound sometimes isn't even. This may be due to the soundtrack or some "sound blasting" by the producers of the particular show. Voices will be soft and then blasting.

It was a little challenging to set up with Google and Directv. I eventually managed to get it to operate. Nice picture and audio. Easy to order from website and super quick delivery. I purchased the 42in Sony Bravia about 18 months ago and that was super easy to set up. Go figure.

Great bedroom television

It’s a good size for that room, has a great Sony picture, great volume and sound. My only issue is that I wasn’t aware that it was a Google TV and would require that I set up a Google account and email. I wind up bypassing that anyway to use the Roku programming.

I purchased this 32” Sony to replace the 12 yr old Sony 32” that I moved to my workout room. I like the smart google tv features.I am able to do everything I did on my firestick. Picture is improved. And I use an antenna to get all the locals. And the internet for Amazon prime and all I will need to watch movies and shows. IMO,Sony is the one and only!

Glitchy software makes TV unusable

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 8 months of use, here are my impressions: Pros: This Sony TV has a great picture and sound, and a simple remote, Cons: The TV's software is very glitchy, causing long delays when you want to do ANYTHING, including load Netflix or Hulu or Max, or switch between streaming and live TV, or even turn on the TV. I've reset and updated the TV, but the problems persist. Another problem with this TV is the Google TV platform it uses. It's super clunky and difficult to add any streaming services in addition to the few that are pre-loaded. I'm very surprised with how bad it is, because I've always been very happy with Sony TVs since the first one I owned in the late 1970s. After this experience I'm DONE with Sony TVs.
