Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the storage capacity and convenience of the 32GB Memory Card for PlayStation Vita. They appreciate being able to store multiple games without having to constantly transfer them. However, some customers find the price to be a bit high, considering it's a proprietary Sony memory card.

32 GB Card Brings the Price of Vita > Price of PS3
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A PS3 bundle currently sells for $299.00 with a 320 GB HD. The Vita sells for $249.99 plus you need to buy a proprietary flash card to save games, downloads, updates etc. Given how quickly a 16GB card fills up, and unless you want to be constantly buying new 4GB cards, the 32 GB card is the most appropriate choice except for one thing: its cost In response to those that say buy a smaller card, the cheapest one is $20.00, so now the price is at $270.00. This gives you a total of 8 GBs of memory, which is nothing when you think about hooking it up to your PS3, downloading items from the PS3 network, game saves, and according to Sony, "They'll be for "patches, game data, download content and more," and for that reason Sony wants to keep them more secure. " Source - http://psp.ign.com/articles/121/1213857p1.html Furthermore, a 32 GB card from PNY is now selling for $34.99. When I bought it for my phone last year it was $60.00, but it was still worth it because it turned my Android into the equivalent of a 32GB iTouch. Now, the transfer speed is only 4MB/sec (they sell a professional version for 20MB/sec) Since Sony won't release the specs on the proprietary cards this actually hurts Sony case, and furthers the consumers impression that they are getting ripped off. From a business perspective, it probably made sense to Sony to take this route. It's common knowledge that Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo typically lose money on their hardware - at least on launch - but they make money on the software side. In this case, Sony launches their portable at what appears to be a reasonable price (reasonable being a subjective term), and of course once the consumer gets to the store the salesperson is going to go for the up-sell: it's going to be strongly recommended they buy a memory card because the 4GB simply is not enough. I applaud Sony for their creativity, but someone needs to let Sony know about this thing called the internet, the dissemination of knowledge through the aforementioned technology, and the backlash these ideas can create. Given the current state of the economy now was probably not the right time to implement this type of ploy. I will redact this review if after first quarter sales have been reported. If actual sales, not units shipped that sit on shelfs, exceed those of the PSP. Normally, I would compare it to the Nintendo 3D, but given that has been an abject flop, I have to use a different metric. At this point, I just consider this as a way of trying to squeeze extra cash out of the consumer without being utterly transparent.

MUST OWN
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hard to comment about this since its just a memory card, what I will say is that this 32gb should be the standard size for all media and gaming devices. Maybe 16gb but with the size of the these games and throw in updates you will fill up a 16gb in no time flat, at least with a 32gb you have plenty of wiggle room for what ever you want.

Does what it says it does
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Obviously if you are in the market for this then you have a Vita. The 32GB is by far the best one to use since most of the games will be downloaded, and being able to leave a single stick in without having to worry about it makes a big difference. The price levels for these things are bad but thats what we get for buying Sony products.

only one worth your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its the only card worth your money, especially if your a PS+ member. out of the ten games i have on it 7 are from plus. no way could you hold all that with the 4/8/16 gig models. still Sony's proprietary cards are expensive considering their size, even with the recent $20 price drop

Memory is nice

It is what it is and you need it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So let's get it out the way, too expensive considering the other SD cards that are out, but with that said, it's proprietary and you need the space on the Vita since downloading games will take up a bunch of room, PSP games, PS Mini games, and if you like digital copies of the Vita games, plus applications and if you use the camera for pics, I say get the 32GB card I did and its worth it in the end.

Worth it, Do the math
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth the price and as an added bonus i don't have to carry multiple cards around. You will end up saving money if you buy this first then if you buy them individually to add up to 32GB

Got a good deal on essential product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I may have gotten the last one in the country from Best Buy. But being a PS Plus member the larger storage is a must. Pleased with this purchase.

Its a memory card.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quit crying about the price. They have smaller size memory cards if you can't afford the price. 32gb was a no brainer for me. I don't like carrying multiple cards around.

FANTASTIC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this card it gives me tons of memory I purchased 4 of them. Stop crying little boy about the price don't buy it simple as that. I am able to transfer all of my movies from iTunes onto the vita so I don't understand why that guy is crying about lack of selection. Most people already have tons of digital copies on their computers. I like that Sony makes a different type of memory it makes my vita even more unique and I'm sure you will start seeing 3rd party makers soon just like with the memory stick duo

Not enough memory
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is too expensive but because this is required for the psvita you are forced to buy it. Unfortunately, this is the largest memory card sold in the U.S. (There is a 64 gb one sold in Japan), not to mention it fills up rather quickly if you plan on downloading a lot of games

Unfortunately it’s necessary
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would have been nice of Sony to let us use at least PSP memory cards. I'm tired of proprietary memory cards. Should be one size for all devices (MicroSD, SD, etc)...

Finally, enough space!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously owned an 8 GB and a 16 GB, but knew I had to upgrade at some point. Thanks BB for having a great sale on this!
