However, some customers find the price to be a bit high, considering it's a proprietary Sony memory card.

It seems to perform well, but the capacity for price is inadequate. The notion of overpriced proprietary formats is antiquated. The Vita should have internal storage or utilize microSD cards.

A must have item if you are a PlayStation Plus Member. Hold a lot of games, a little expensive but well worth it.

Well, it's a memory card. It does what it says. I still do not know why Sony charges so much for them. For me, 32 is the minimum size so I can load both games and movies.

I bought this item to compliment my PS Vita TV system. It is definitely a must have item because the Vita TV system only comes with 2GB of memory. In order to save more games to the system this is the way to go.

Kinda stinks that this is proprietary memory for the Vita only, but that is the way it goes. Besides that works smooth never lost any data on the Vita, memory management is easy. Great product

Whenever you can come across a vita memory card larger than 16gb there should be no hesitation on buying it. With this aize you can easily fit 8 games on here and still have space for saved data (i believe sly cooper and the god of war collections are about 6.3 gb each, and the average game is around 2.2 gb) with the ps tv coming around the corner buying two of these wont hurt at all either so you wont need to worry about swapping cards when you go from the ps tv to the vita handheld

I picked this up for just around $50 thanks to a best buy sale and it was one of the best things I got for my vita. I've had a vita since it came out, and got a 8gb card initially and couldn't keep up with all of the free games playstation plus puts out each month for vita. This card finally solves that issue, and just makes it really convenient to have all of your games immediately accessible. Swapping out vita cards for games gets annoying, and this will make your life a lot easier.

Too bad Vitas do not come standard with this memory card, the general standard seems to 8GB if you buy the bundle sets, which barely can hold 1-2 games, reason I say 1 is that Boardlands 2 is about 4GB and the DLC another 2 or 3, so that leaves barely anything on the card.
So if buying a Vita I would strongly suggest purchasing this card to best utilize the spacing for games.

I would have given this 5 stars but have taken it down to a 4 for the fact that it is still too expensive and the overall capacity needs to be increased.
I love my PS Vita and this is the first videogame system that I have gone fully digital. That coupled with being a PS+ member, 32GB is still far too small for this system. A 64GB memory card is being released soon in the U.S. and that is exactly what the Vita needs for those of us going digital.

The price is insane for a memory card. It should come included with the system. It does hold a significant amount of data.

They are small and nice. Downfall is the price. Sony really stepped up their game forcing people to buy these instead of just using micro sd or SD cards.

I purchased this 32 gig PSVita card so that I would not have to constantly have to delete games or move cards from my PSVita. Because the cards are so tiny and are only made by Sony they are overly expensive.
When I tested the 32gb vita memory card the speeds it was generating for reading was around 4mbps which is around a class 4 label in other SD/memory cards. Could be faster for the price.

If you got a PlayStation Vita, you can ditch the 8gb memory card that comes with it right away. It's not going to do you much good. You'll need at a minimum this 32gb if you want to get the most out of your Vita without worrying about space. And, if you're a Plus member, without all the great new games to download each month, this memory card will really come in handy to be able to download them all.

My only issue is the Vita uses a proprietary memory card instead of a microSD. It's a memory card that you have to buy for the Vita. Nothing else to say.

For all the new PS Vita owners, the 32gb card is the way to go. I had a 4gb and an 8gb card and was constantly flip-flopping back and forth depending on the game I wanted to play. No more! The price isn't anywhere near what it should be, but with September price drop, might as well bite the bullet on a memory card that can at least be useful.
