This is an excellent 35mm f1.8 lens. I purchased it mainly to enable sharp, shallow depth-of-field pics of always moving grand kids. The combo of the a6000 and this lens gives me perfect results!!

This is now my go to lens. I absolutely love the quick autofocus on this e-mount lens. It provides a nice bokeh as well. Not as precise as the 35mm Zeiss equivalent glass but at nearly $200 cheaper I couldn’t justify the marginally better performance.

This is a high quality prime lens. It has a fixed focal length so if you like to frame your subject without walking around this is not for you. But the optics are so excellent I think you will get a better image than a kit zoom lens. I can always crop at home.

I backed away from the 50mm because I wanted the most use, and boy am I glad I did. This lens does it all. Great quality, very small body, but does come at a price. A HUGE upgrade from the kit lens.

I was in dilemma whether to spend so many $$$ on this lens or not and finally decided to buy. I'm shocked after seeing the pictures and their quality. I'm so happy with my purchase.!!

The quality ofnits build and the quality of the pictures you can create are excellent. Nice to have as another portrait option trat requires a little wider shot than a 50mm prime

I always read reviews before I purchase things. Everyone said it was worth it and I’m so glad I listened! The Sony mirrorless cameras are great... but when added with this lense it’s a whole different ball game. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I purchased this lens as an everyday lens to take both portraits and lifestyle shots and it is perfect. Very fast and super sharp.

Extremely impressed with the image quality when using this lens with my A6000. Image distortion virtually nonexistent. Very impressive low light quality. The perfect third lens to add to the two normal kit lens that come with the camera.

This is perfect for a6000 and a6300. A must have lens. The quality is amazing and this is going to be a game-changer for my photography.

My wife suggested this lens for my Sony A6000 and minus the issues we are having now it has worked great! If you are seeking something that can zoom in and out this is not the lens for you but it does the job for for it's specific niche. Currently having focal issues with it and will swap it soon!

I really like this lens! For me, personally, having OSS in the lens is almost a necessity. I had a competitors 30mm f1.4 and I didn’t get nearly as good of images as I do with this.

This lens is worth the cost invested. The pictures captured with this lens are surreal and to add will be the night photography/stargazing pictures are out of this world. Must buy for the additional cost.

Not sure why folks are purchasing Canon or Nikon. Sony cameras are smaller and lighter with the same image sensor. Much less bulky and what you see in the oled viewfinder or screen is how your image will look like.

This is an awesome lens for my sony a6000 mirrorless camera. It is a great everyday lens to keep on the camera i have the kit lens it came with the camera but doesn't do much justice like this lens.

I owned the 50mm before this and decided to go to a 35mm and the quality and amount of content you can place in a frame is worth the difference for me.

Bought this open boxed, looked brand new. I’m a beginner and was recommended to get this lens with my a6500 and I haven’t taken it off my camera yet. :)

I am very pleased with the quality of this lens. For the price, the 1.8 aperture is well designed for crisp image quality with that nice blurred separation from the background.

This lens produces great photos with low light. For portraits this lens is ideal without backing up to fit the object in the screen. Very good at close ups as well. I have very good clarity and bought the lens on sale.
