Great tv, good picture quality & easy to use. I think the volume could be better

Overall a very user friendly tv. Great picture....Only downside is the picture fades out when viewed from the side.

Great picture , colors really pop with this tv . I bought this for my mom and sit it up in her bedroom and she really enjoys this tv much better then last !

This tv was a great purchase; it was easy to set up. The detail on the picture is great and the sound is terrific. We were extremely pleased with the help and support from the sales executive. He was patient and answered all questions and educated us concerning the newest updates and their purposes. Your customer service is very noteworthy.

I’ve had this tv for well over 4 years and still till this day I haven’t not one problem with it. The picture and sound quality are both as good as they have been since day one. This tv is sleek and stylish, easy to set up and is being sold at a steal grab one before they’re gone

Use it for the message board at business location and look great, can’t go wrong with sony.

I originally purchased a 43" Sharp TV which was recommended by the sales associate. As soon as I put the TV together I knew I made a mistake as the tv had a very cheap stand, and the screws would not fasten properly. That sharp also had a very poor picture that resembled a very old tube tv. The final straw was figuring out that Sharp tv's are made by Hisense, which I did not want because of their low quality, and lack of support. I returned the tv to Best Buy with no questions asked and purchased the Sony, which while not a smart tv like the Sharp's Roku interface, was built with quality in mind, and with a beautiful picture, which are the two most important things to me. To remedy the issue of a non smart TV, I purchased an Amazon Fire TV stick with voice remote, which is much easier to use than the Roku interface ever was. I feel confident that this TV will last for years as that is expected from the Sony brand, and am very pleased with my exchange.

This tv is great overall. I wanted a non smart tv with good picture quality and blamO!

Great picture once set up with HD test/set up disc, but VERY narrow field of viewing, off angle very washed out. First one purchased had issues with markings visible on full white screen, replacement has same issues, but better color then first. For the price it is OK, but would recommend higher model if you can afford it.

Once again SONY delivers! I had stayed away from Sony TVs for a while due to a bad experience. This TV was on Sale at Best Buy and decided to give SONY another chance. This TV was easy to set up and so far is delivering on my expectations, and the price was excellent.

Ease of setup except for remote with cable remote. Quality of picture is superior. Speakers should have been pointed (totally) forward, so as to not irritate neighbors when mounted (or close) to wall, thus requiring to either turn sound down low or having to pay more for bypass speakers to place close to viewers.

I bought this television for my daughter. She put it in her bedroom, and I was worried about the competing noise with the living room TV. The volume is only ok - it is not as loud as I would like. For a small space, however, it is great. And, the beautiful picture more than makes up for anything else.

Generally good, bright, and clear picture, adequate sound, and nice remote. But has many limitations. Picture aspect settings do not permit full use of screen without lots of distortion. Standard view only uses about 70% of the screen, while zoomed views either severely stretch image or cut off large portions. External audio jack is mono only and cannot be used with stereo earphones, stereo soundbar, or other streaming device (even with "splitter" accessory). Only one HDMI in jack, so only a single HD input can be used. It is remarkably thin and light, with very thin bezel, so it fits very neatly on a table top or other smallish space. It also runs very cool with little wasted energy. So, overall... I can recommend this TV as a basic unit for a small to medium sized room, but don't expect high level performance.

Already own a Sony Bravia TV (55" 4K Smart TV) so purchasing this second Sony Bravia was a no brainer. We have purchased Sony's since 2004 and never had a problem. Wonderful resolution, true color, and easy to set up and use. Highly recommend.

Upgraded an older tv in the bedroom to the Sony 40". We were not looking for a tv with all kinds of bells and whistles, this fit the bill perfectly. After reading alot of reviews on various tv's we choose this one and we are very happy with it. Great picture and got it for a great price.

I bought this Sony TV for my wife's Lady Cave.I'm usually a Samsung buyer but all the reviews for 40 inch TVs said Sony was better and the 50 inch and bigger,Samsung was better.Went to my My Best Buy and compared pictures and they were right.Easy setup,I would recommend this to everyone

I purchased this TV and it in my bedroom. It is the perfect size and the picture is good. I hooked my soundbar up to it and it sounds amazing. The only thing is you have to sit the TV on a flat surface because of the way the stand is made.

I bought this tv on a 4 hr flash sale. I was looking for something inexpensive to put in a small guest bedroom. This tv is perfect - crisp clear picture, easy to set up. I have other Sony sets, and they have always proven to be reliable.
