I was much happier with this TV than the Samsung that I tried first. Black level is good. Colors are good. Audio is weak and you really have to turn it up high (over 50%) for normal viewing. Much easier to navigate and operate than the typical smart TV. Including my other Sony.

This TV works perfectly, in spite of the fact that the UPS driver practically *rolled it* up the stairs end over end. I thought for sure I'd be making a return, but the TV works well in spite of that abuse. The only problem with the TV is that the viewing angle is pretty narrow. This is only a problem if I try to watch from the next room. My one big issue is that I bought a "Geek Squad Certified" open box, but the TV came without a power cord. I mean, I could not plug the thing in! I called Best Buy customer service and they sent me a partial refund to cover the cost of a new power cord, but I still had to go find one myself on eBay. Apparently the Geek Squad is not responsible for certifying that the open box contains everything the item originally shipped with. And yes, I checked, "power cord" is on the parts list. Because they included manual. Nice. So yes, I recommend the TV. But stay away from the open box, "certified" or not.

Chose a Sony based on past experience. Chose this model because it has all the features we were looking for a a good price. Bought for my adult daughter living out of state. Easy set up and operation. Picture quality not thoroughly evaluated myself. Initial impression was good.

I was on a budget, 300 dollars. Spoke with a representative in the store, and they pointed me here. Offered me the smart version, but after telling him I would hook up a PS4 he took me to this model. Great SONY TV for the price.

I have been very happy with my Sony television. Wonderful color and clarity. It was reasonably priced and I have had no problems with it. When I bought it the salesperson was very helpful and informative.

Purchased this TV for my mother to replace an old 32 in flat screen. Setup was easy and color adjustments got the picture that she wanted. Nice TV for the money. Great picture and reasonable sound quality. She's happy.

This Sony is a fantastic upgrade replacement for my bedroom!! I bought the Sony 49" tv for my living room a few months ago and they both look Great!! Very clean, crisp picture and sound, easy to make adjustments!

We were looking for a good quality 40 inch TV for our elderly mom without too many bells and whistles. Sony has a reputation for excellent picture quality. Setup was easy; the size and price were right and our mom is happy with her larger screen.

Bought this for my kid's room. Good HD picture with easy set up and decent remote. Perfect for use with PS3 for games and streaming. This TV was exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier with it.

This is a great buy! It has a great picture and is the perfect size for our family room. We did not need a smart tv because we already have an Apple TV. That saved about $100.00 on the overall price.

Great tv for the price. Easy setup, just wish it had the Netflix remote feature. Having been a user of Samsung for many years, I've experienced this brands many design flaws. Sony is solid so hoping for a better long term outcome.

I wanted to get a decent 1080 HDTV that hooked into current and near future accessories that wasn't "smart". My iMac and Amazon Firestick already include enough smarts so I really didn't need a complicated TV. I did my homework and settled on this Sony. I've had this TV for over a month and it really meets my expectations. It was delivered on time, was simple to set up and has a great picture with ample adjustability so that the user can fine tune things. This Sony deserves 4.5 stars but that wasn't an option. The only thing that could be better is the sound. I know many HDTVs are lacking great sound, but that doesn't mean we should accept it. I would recommend this TV for it's overall quality, lack of "smarts" and great price; especially if you can catch a sale.

bought for the garage. 2 HDMI is perfect, not a lot of bells and whistles, but a great basic tv for a great price. very lightweight and easy to move and great picture. No compliants.

The picture quality is great and has good quality sound. The speakers are on the back of the TV set which is one drawback. I hooked up external speakers and it helped significantly.

Great tv, very nice picture. Very easy to set up. Wish the base was solid though. Cant sit on top of dvd player because the dvd player is not as wide as the base. The tv would fall backwards. Other than that. Love it.

This, like all my Sony TVs, is an excellent product with features and performance of far more expensive sets. This is a very affordable way to journey into top shelf TV viewing.

Picture quality is solid. Blacks could be deeper...

After a lot of shopping around I came across this TV on Best Buy. The price can't be beat. Don't stick with the factory settings. With a little fine-tuning this TV is amazing!

This is a great TV with a flawless picture! It is thin enough to fit in any space and has a unique base so if you are leaving it on a piece of furniture it still looks good!!
