My dad's TV broke down and I wanted to get him a great TV so that he could watch TV and enjoy his sports game in better quality than he had before. I thought I was going to spend more than $250, so I was surprised to buy a Sony 40" TV flatscreen that was perfect at that price! It took just a few minutes to get up and running and the picture and sound quality are spot on. My dad loves it and so do I.

I like the size because it fit easily on a stand. Vibrant colors and easy to use. I didn't have any trouble programming it

Excellent HDTV for anyone looking for a non smart, full-HD HDTV. Picture is bright and clear and colors are perfect (after some adjustment from the factory settings.) Only 2 drawbacks: one is the sound...it's kind of weak and volume needs to be turned up over 70 on the scale if you're more than a few feet away from the set; the other is that there are only 2 HDMI ports which limits the ability to connect HD devices. But for the price, it can't be beat.

Really like the picture quality of this tv. Great for watching sports. Sound is good too. Very easy to set up.

Upgraded old bedroom 720p TV to this. Best Buy offered a deal that was hard to say no to. It a great little set with fantastic colors, sound, and 1080p scaling. DVDs, Directv, and video games all are fantastic looking. I like how it noticed and updated the name of Directv input without me having to do anything. Just small touches and details like that makes for an easier overall experience. Great product and name brand very pleased with this purchased.

Snagged this from BB for $229 during a very narrow window of opportunity. Never had problems with Sony. User interface, remote, picture, everything is exceptional. I returned 2 Samsung 40" TVs which were more expensive, including a UHD 2160p. The SONY was more natural and easier on the eye. Pair this with a Roku 3600 for the nice XMas price of $39.99 and you have a smart TV that's faster and easier to use than Samsung - and LESS EXPENSIVE!!!

I had an LG tv I purchased in 2014 and I loved it but lightening struck it because I didn't have it plugged into a surge protector. So, I chose this tv as a replacement. It is a good tv, picture is clearer on my apple tv than with cable because I don't have an HD receiver just a cheap one connected to it. It has all the ports you'll look for and things of that nature. However, if you are debating between an LG and this TV with similar specs, get the LG. I chose this over LG because the price was about $80.00 cheaper.

Picture quality is good and price is also very reasonable. We bought this TV around 20 days back and we are happy with it till now.

SONY TV HAS THE CLEAREST PICTURE EVER. LOVE SIZE AND OUTSTANDING COLOR. WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

Always been a Sony fan, great tv at a great price. Works well with roku and amazon fire stick.
