The size, sound, and picture are all great. Easy set-up. We are very happy with this television.

Purchased this TV just expecting another simple and reliable product from Sony. I was impressed with the picture delivered! I only use a 4th Generation Apple TV with this TV, really good picture. I have 0 complaints about this TV. Just keep in mind, not a smart tv. After leaving Sony for a few years to try other brands, I replaced every TV in my home with a new Sony, 4th this year. I do NOT plan on ever leaving Sony again.

This made a great gift for my mother who lives alone and was still using a tube TV and converter box for an antenna over-the-air broadcasts. She was amazed at the picture quality and sound, and especially that she now has only one remote. It is the perfect size for her backroom where she typically watches her programs. Of course she does not need the higher end Smart, 4K or 3D gatchetry, so this bare bones TV is just perfect.

I have in my bed room it has good picture quality still prefer my Samsung because it has more feautures for the same price

I picked up this TV on black Friday, though it was not on sale. It was $279 and to get a Sony at that price is a steal. I actually picked up two of them. One for our master bedroom and one for the guest bedroom. This replaced a 10 year old 1080i 40" that is STILL working (Sony). Though, this TV is about 40-50lbs lighter and MUCH smaller despite also being 40". Very good picture quality and paper thin. Highly recommend.

I only dropped that last star for the lack of inputs. There are 2 HDMI ports, 1 set of Composite ports, 1 USB port, and the antenna. There's an Optical audio port. But we have 3 HDMI items we want to plug in. Even if we change up our game systems, we'll have 2 Composites to plug in. As it is we have to swap. Other than that, it's a great TV. The picture is beautiful and the sound is good. It was easy to put the stand on it. We don't regret the purchase at all.

It is beautiful. It's a Sony so its better than Samsung in my opinion. The picture quality is amazing. The stand is prefect support. The speaker's are great. Unless you want woofer, bass, and theater quality, buying a sound bar is so unnecessary. It only comes with 2 slots for connecting an HDMI cord; I only need one. I can easily connect this to other devices or my cable box.
