I was neding a small TV for the bedroom and the sales associate steered me to the Sony. At 249 the price was right on. Took it home and set it up. Picture bright and clear. Remote easy to understand. It looks good with the basic cable in the bedroom but when I attached a Chromecast in HD it was so much better. Highly recommend this unit

My husband bought me this TV for my craft room where I spend a lot of my time working on projects. The flat screen I had was old and the color was awful so this was really a treat! I record many of my favorite shows so I can watch/listen as I work. A great surprise and very appreciated.

Sony 40" LED HDTV was on sale price ($50 off regular price - $279 down to $229), respected brand name, in stock at store, easy to attach stand to TV (4 screws). easy set-up and to follow instructions, good sound and picture.

I bought two of these for customers to use as a secondary tv for kids rooms. Since I am an installer, I always highly recommend Sony, Sharp, Samsung products. I have had great success with these products and always recommend them. Great clarity and color for the money. Streams very well.

Works great. Viewing angles are no problem at all. Its not a smart tv so it does not take forever to turn on or change channels. just works like a tv. For under 300 beans the picture is great. Also the volume and sound are very good. Using an analog Roku 1. Audio and video are even better through that. Great bargain priced tv. Go get one.

Needed to get my 90 year old father in law a new TV. He has a bad habit of pushing buttons without knowing what they are for. Did not want a Smart TV, way to many things for him to see and try that would throw the TV in to chaos. For the price, this Sony LED TV fit the bill to a T !!!

I am loyal to Sony and always prepared to pay more, but this time I had to pinch myself. The price was lower than many other no names. Picture is clear, bright and perfect for my bedroom. I didn't need the smart features (or extra price) since I only use with my satellite receiver.

Sonys 40' bravia is beautiful in color runs hdmi with no lag input. My only thumbs down is the availability of hdmi ports i had to buy 2 splitters in order to connect everything otherwise tv is great and integrates well with atleast hawaiian telcoms cable/dvr universal remote

I got a great deal on this 1080p Sony since the 4k TVs are all the rage. This is one of Sony's top TV's without Smart features. If you allready have a smart Blu Ray player, why spend the extra dollars. I am very satisfied with the picture quality and the overall workings.

I've owned Sony Bravia TV's my whole life. They're great. They're reliable and have good picture quality. For $200 last Black Friday, I was able to pick one of these up, and I have no regrets. The remote could be a little fancier and I wish there were more HDMI ports (2), but overall, it's fine.

This product delivers on everything it says to be. Sony is one of the best TVs to buy. Worth every penny. Best value for the money. However, no frills HDTV, just what you need high resolution and refresh rate. You can buy the other smart products to add to it later.

I purchased this TV to replace a TV in the bedroom. It is the perfect size and the picture quality is great. I also chose this model because of the center stand as opposed to the "feet" on either side which better suited my needs for the table I was putting it on.

This was a gift for my son. Super easy setup right out of the box. The picture quality is what you would expect from Sony. It is primarily used for Xbox One and the graphics are outstanding. Sound from stock speakers is also very good. Great deal on a great TV.

This television was a great buy. The picture is sharp and clear. The price and 6 month financing allowed me to also purchase a blue- ray DVD player. Sony has always been a name that I trust and this purchase certainly lives up to Sony's excellent reputation.

I bought this on a four hour sale from Best Buy, and wow it was a good deal! I am very happy with the tv for the price. Has a nice bright picture and is thin, easy to mount on a wall. One negative sound is a little weak but most thin TV fall victim to this. For a bedroom or smaller room it would work great.

Bought this for my father-in-law to replace an old 32 inch tube TV. He is amazed at the quality of the picture and is quiet happy with the sound as well. I had mentioned he might need a sound bar but he says the sound is quiet good. Another win for Sony.
