great TV for the value. Recommend this TV for everyone

Purchased for exercise room. It does the job. No noticeable motion blur, but doesn't seem to handle shades of black too well in darkly lit scenes. If looking for a good TV for a low price, this is hard to beat.

This is my second Sony TV from Bestbuy. i got this TV for $299 the best price available the time i purchased. i took this tv to india to give as a gift. it works for 230V 60hz and 110V 50 Hz. i love this tv .

Great price for a 40" TV. The refresh, color and HD quality are fantastic. The only draw back is the speakers. They fire down and require the sound to be turned up a bit. Though they are clear sounding. But nothing a sound bar couldn't fix.

Our family has been going to Best Buy for a long time now. we could be described as loyal customers, albeit in a different part of the country than this TV was purchased. We actually started out buying another well-known leading brand. After taking it home (my daughter's new apartment), it failed to work properly. We got another. We took it home. It didn't work either. The store offered the Sony, which was a little more expensive, as a substitute, and in effect to assuage our concern that Best Buy products are reliable. i am happy to say that it is working well. we appreciate the store's addressing the deficiency of the products we were supplied with, but it will take us a while to forget that it took three tries to buy a product that should work the first time.

I purchased this tv to be able to stream netflix and amazon video and it works great. Definitely met my expectations and for the price, I feel satisfied with my purchase. Also, I ordered this television online and it was shipped quickly and I had no issues in that area either.

I was actually going to buy a "higher grade" tv for about $180 more; however, this tv was on sale. It's the same quality for less money. I purchased it for my master bedroom and I couldn't be any happier.

Sony is the brand I trust and this TV is meeting my expectation. No issues and easy to set up. I did notice the WIFI connection for Netflix/Hulu is a bit slow, but nothing to complain about.

This TV is the perfect size for our guest room. The screen has good clarity and color. It's current with netflix and internet access. We used a mount and put it up on the wall.

We needed many classroom TVs at a great price. We got the SMART feature at the non SMART price! We bought 8 of them and they are serving well for our Church educational needs.

Great TV for the price. Only complaint is channel selection. We have antenna TV so our channels will be. 2.1. or 5.1. Not just 2 or 5. This TV does not go to the next available channel, it must be entered as 2.1 or 5.1. This is annoying. It also doesn't allow us to delete the channels not used when scanning. Never had this problem before so didn't look for this feature when we bought it.

Very nice Tv, very nitid, and extremly reliable. I can operate PS4 on this screen and it looks awesome, has a lot functions for devices. Definetely one of my best buys.

Very happy with this purchase. One feature that I have only found on SONY TVs is they have a wake-up alarm. This is a great way to wake up in the morning. Great product.

This Sony is a good TV overall. Connected to WiFi no problems with pre installed apps including Amazon prime which I was looking for in particular. The color not as good as other Sony sets that I have.

Got it for my friend. They appreciate all the features of this product. The software component works well well with the hardware. Like the style and design as much.

The Rep. showed me a few Smart TV models. I decided to go for a 40" TV, and chose the Bravia. I love streaming Netflix without having a Roku box. Awesome picture.

This unit replaced a 40" "regular" HD TV that was giving us connectivity problems on startup. Installed the Sony with no problems and hookup was easy. We also reattached our smart Sony Bluray player with no issues and the TV connected to the remote. Everything works great. But some of the streaming channels that we like to watch (Such as Feeln) do not show up as choices on the new set. We still see and can use them on the Sony Blu Ray. But there isn't really a good reason for Sony to "Filter" the streaming channels. Otherwise, the new SOny is doing great.

Compared with Samsung. Although cost was a little more, the picture clarity and sharpness of Sony model beat the comparable models. Last year's model, but to me didn't matter.

This is the best electronic I got, the only thing that I don't like is that with this I can't connect to internet to navigate the web

If I need another TV this would be the one. The right TV
