Online info. suggested this TV is 120hz. TV is actually 60hz (native). Full HD is nice but the Sony I bought 6 years ago (1080p/120hz) is a better TV. Like the ease of the Smart TV function. Should have done a better researching this TV before I actually purchased this model. Overall, a good but not great TV. I suggest you spend a little more money and get the larger Sony that offers 1080p/120hz capability.

Beautiful picture & color is crisp. Actually looks larger than the screen size. Audio is nice too. I made a great choice.

Bought this for a bedroom and the unit is incredibly lightweight. The bezel is small enough that it's not distracting and the image is great. I also like the Sony menu system as it's intuitive. The built-in app system works well with Netflix and Youtube, simple enough my mother was able to use it. The television doesn't have too many inputs but that's what you get with a lower-budget TV. The sound is also decent for this class of TV.

Went to Best Buy to buy a Samsung then compared the pictures on the various TVs... bought this Sony and it is great! Beautiful picture and easy to set up... liked the TV so much I bought 2! If you are going to wall mount the TV , be cautious about what type of wall TV mount you use as the mount area on the TV back is on the lower half of the TV. If you don't want the wall mount to show below the screen, be sure to check the dimensions and placement before you put up the wall mount!

It's a great TV for the price. I like built in Netflix feature. It was easy to set up. The picture quality is good.

Not only is this a great tv (great sound, great image, great capabilities, easy to use, etc.), it's also a great value for what it is. My only complaint is that it doesn't Bluetooth or wifi connect for music libraries--you have to upload the music yourself. So, while the system isn't ideal if you're looking for something to also be a stereo system, it's an amazing tv!

Sony Bravia 40" LED Smart TV is top of the line, 5 stars is what it truly deserves. The screen delivers a crisp sharpness with brilliant colors, very easy to set-up the HDMI cables. The price was outstanding- on sale at Best Buy for $298. Highly recommend this television !

We only buy Sony after a bad experience with another brand. I love the quality of this TV and all of its newer features.

Blacks are jet black , just what you would expect from a OLED TV. Very bright with plenty of contrast. Very sharp picture. Middling sound that is normal for a LCD LED TV and greatly improved with a Sony Sound Base.

This was one of the best purchases I have made on a tv so far. The set up was easy, the picture is clear and I love the fact that it has a parental block on the internet access. My Samsung smart tv have it but it blocks access to the entire tv. I will purchase another Sony tv when I need to replace the 3rd bedroom tv.

We bought this TV as a replacement for an older second TV in the house and couldn't be more pleased. Easy to set up, picture is clear and colors true to form. Due to its lightness, easy to move around if necessary. Sound quality good as this TV is not hooked into our sound system. Price was reasonable.

Everything is perfect about the TV except for one thing. You can't download all the big name apps for the TV such as Hulu Spotify etc. the only apps you can have are Netflix crackle vudu amazon instant video & YouTube. other than that the TV is great. Good quality great sound.

I am truly enjoying this television. The price was so good for a smart TV, I was skeptical, but the picture is lovely and the size is perfect for my smallish living room. I can't comment about ease of set up because the AT&T cable guy set it up for me – this was a purchase for a new apartment. But he got through it pretty quickly, and said that it looks like a really nice TV. Anyway, I've had the TV now for over a month, and I'm very satisfied.

I am really happy with my purchase of this TV! The color and sound are great and the set up was so beyond easy it surprised me! (I am not a tech savvy person, so this was extremely important.) You just plug it in and follow a couple of easy directions and the TV does the rest! Love it!

I bought the Sony smart tv after reading reviews and seeing it in store. While it is a nice tv, it's not always so smart. Sometimes it is slow to respond, if it all; including volume adjustment and using the home or Netflix buttons to get to other programs. I found that sometimes I just have to turn off the whole unit and try again. A bit of a bother, but it's still a nice tv.

Have replaced all TV's in my house in last 6 months and my go to brand for excellent picture is Sony. Bought this non 4K TV for a spare room to replace a 10 year old Hitachi plasma and for simple TV viewing, it's an excellent choice, especially for the $299 price tag!

For an economy priced smart tv, this performs very well. Programming is easy; instructions are reasonably easy to understand. I purchased it over a year ago and it's been completely trouble-free. The one thing I miss about my old TV is the swivel base. I miss the ability to easily turn the unit.

Picked up the TV, easy to stop by and carry it out to the truck. The picture quality is great - I purchased for use in a small fitness room in my house. Size is perfect for the space and it was super easy to set up, install and attach to the wall mount

I looked at the 4K models first in this screen size range and the picture quality on this 1080p is almost as good. For the price it makes a great guest room or kids room TV. Clear picture and sound. Easy to set up and get the apps running.
