It was fairly easy to setup the TV and hook it up to my home theater system (also SONY). Note that the TV uses ARC system that requires an optical cable to output the audio through the home theater speakers. I purchased the TV in May, 2016 and everything is working well so far.

Even though it's last year's model, it turned out to be very nice. It's not Sony's High End but quality is great and TV looks awesome. Internet apps aren't aplenty but it has the basics...Netflix, Crackle, YouTube, and you can cast to it by connecting your iPhone or Android device (where compatible). I love it.

Very Good TV For The Price

I originally wanted to purchase a 43" tv, but I am very pleased with this tv although it is 40". The sound and picture quality is excellent. My only complaint is that I wish it came with a few more apps, but other than that this is a great tv.

Sony Smart TV

This tv is thinner and sleeker. We no longer need to attach the Apple TV as this one is able to stream Netflix without it. The images are sharper. In general, this isn't the 4K quality tv we have in the living room, but it works for what we need it for.

This TV was on sale (a close-out, I think) and the price captured my attention. However, after watching it for several weeks I think I would have bought it even if the price were higher - but I'm glad I didn't have to pay more :-)

Nice TV for a small room

Maybe we should have. Has been a little more difficult to get everything programmed than we thought it would be. Has a good quality picture.
