YES IT IS another 200 dollars bu tI paid NOTHING... N O T H I N G for the upgrade and they were great about it all.... the WARRANTIES are the KEY PEOPLE you don't see the money as necessary BUT when it comes to 3 -5 years later IT PAYS OFF!!!!!! GET THE WARRANTY!! then just wait ! you will have a new TV every 3-5 years and no pay a dime! trust me...

Fits In My Cabinet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Past 40” models of Sony’s TVs wouldn’t fit in my entertainment center because they were too wide. Apparently Sony has made some adjustments so now this TV fits perfectly. I did have some initial problems setting it up but Sony’s tech support were very helpful. I also would not say the blacks are deep and on some programs appear somewhat muddy. I also liked the fact it has an earphone jack which seems to be hard to find on other models and brands.
