Nice color, very bright picture, smart TV apps work very well with my WIFI. Black metal frame around screen looks ok but the plastic stand looks cheap. Makes a good second TV, have mine in the bedroom.

This tv is a great price and has a beautiful picture. Other family members have owned Bravia for over 9 years and still going strong. But the wall mount option is quite odd, there are only two mount holes and you use a picture wire (not included) like when hanging a heavy mirror. You cannot use a tv mount.

Picture quality is very good, Price was good. Smart tv is nice but disappointed I can't download other apps besides what is installed on it already.

I originally bought a Samsung from Costco that was a little larger. I was very disappointed with the picture quality while watching sports and old movies on TCM. There was a lot of motion blur and a huge different if connected thru a coax or HDMI cable. I bought this one thru the recommadtion of the sales person (BB also sells the same Samsung set) and am very happy with it. One of my concerns was that I want to cut the cable and go to a digital antenna and that uses a coax. There wasn't much of a difference between a coax or HDMI connection on the cable box with the Sony as there was with the Samsung. This set performs and has a nice picture for the price. It is not my main TV as I have 65 in Panasonic Plasma that cost a lot more and as it should be a way better picture. I had both the Sony and Samsung set up side by side and did a comparison. Dont remember the Samsung model but it had 60HZ refresh rate and was on sale for a little under $450. I saved money and got a better TV for what I wanted. I also wanted a smart TV and this one works for me. For the price I am sure that you will like it. The only fault that I have is that has limited inputs. I also installed it on a wall mount. One issue is that this TV is made especially for Best Buy and many of the wall mounts may not work. The back of the TV is not completely flat but included with the set are extension spacer and bolts so you can use the mounts. I used a Sanus SMF115-B1 full motion wall mount that I bought from Costco and it worked with the spacers that came with the set. I did however have to cut a access hole in the main plate to be able to use the inputs on the back.

The TV quality is excellent with 1080 P and Motion Rate 120HZ, no lagging in blu ray movies. I was satisfied with the quality. Sony is the best in quality. Coming to sound its all same as other TVs. Screen mirroring facility works, smart tv with most common apps, netflix etc good features. I would be even much happier if the operating system comes with Android OS similar to 4K Sony Tvs, yeah also cost is a big factor in 4K Sony Tvs.

This TV has a great picture and smart features. Setup was simple and we were streaming content in no time. After setup, we started the process of mounting it on the wall. It was then we discovered that one port would be blocked with one type of mount or wouldn't set flush to wall if mount was modified. With only two HDMI ports, not being able to use one was a deal breaker. Ultimately, the TV was exchanged for a model that was compatible with our application.

Needed a new TV for the bedroom, this size worked well. Easy to set up. Chose it from among others of the same size because of the quality of picture. Only problem is that it sometimes pixelates.

This was one of the easiest set ups I've ever had the pleasure of doing...just plug it in, it has programed automatic color and tuning so great pic and sound from the get go. Sony always takes pride in the products that are a couple of notches above their competitors products...and that policy continues to this day.

The colors are rich and the picture is sharp. I appreciate that the sound is better than our soundbar when it comes to voices. We don't need to use the soundbar anymore. Switching from speakers to headphones is kind of a process. Not an issue if you don't do this everyday. We've only had this for less than 2 months.

This is for my wife's bedroom. At first I thought it was too big but it is fine. This tv has a great picture and good sound. I like the nearly full length stand. The tv is not so tippy. I would recommend this to a friend. I bought a 32" a week later.

I bought the open box item(because it came without the remote) and saved a lot of money. I love the apps. and its picture keeps with every sport. great if you live for sports

I got it for a good price, picture is nice and clean. I was very impressed. For the sound when I first look at it I thought it might be on the low side because the speakers are at the bottom but for my surprise they sound very loud so no problems with the sound at all. Netflix, Amazon and youtube work great as for the rest I haven't try them so I can't comment. For the connections you get 2 USB ports, 2 HDMI and component so not too shabby. There is but one problem but it might have to do with the router if yours gets stuck in now tuning when you change channels or some buttons on the remote won't respond reboot your router and unplug your tv for 2 mins and plug it back in. My problem was the router it's dual band so for some reason it stops broadcasting in the 2.4GHz range and when that happen my tv became unresponsive or the screen keep displaying now tuning or I had no access to Netflix or the other apps. I don't know if this particular model KDL40W650D supports 5GHz band or just the 2.4GHz I will have to ask Sony. So I did a firmware update to the router and that seems to fix the problem. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, picture is nice, sounds great and it has decent features.

Currently using it for video games. Picture is very crisp and the motion is smooth. The one gripe i have is that the remote feels very cheap but that's small potatoes.

I was told this was a great TV for gaming, and the associate was right! The great motion dynamics makes this a perfect TV for fast-paced gaming. It also makes live TV (like sports) look so much better than normal. The TV can actually keep up with all of the movement without blurring it. Anything looks good on it, really. It is a perfect size for whatever you need, whether it be a bedroom or a living room. It also comes with hardware should you want to hang it, as well as a remote control.

I have always bought Sony’s because they have great picture and are very dependable. I have had them last 15 yrs and always donate them when I upgrade. Never had one that wasn’t still working when I replace it.

It's a great TV. I'm not a tech expert but my brother is so I took a big risk buying him a TV as a gift. He was very gracious when he first recvd it and said thanks...but now weeks later he is still telling me how great it is. I win! I see an incredible picture and it's a very very easy to use smart TV. Can't ask for anything better.

Needed a new TV for the bedroom. Looked at a lot of different brands but the Sony had the best picture in my eyes. So far have been every happy with this TV. We paid a little more for the Sony but I think it was worth it.

bought this on suggestion from one of the best buy employee's. girlfriend moved out and stole the bedroom tv, glad she did, this has such a great picture and sound so much better than what she took!!

Purchased as a gift and the person who received it loves it. Great picture, easy to use, and a sleek design.
