I love Sony's screen - it looks the most true to life to me. Everything about it is great, except that it doesn't stream HBO or SHOWTIME, so had to get a ROKU to enable those channels. Do your homework first! The sales rep insisted that I'd be able to get these two channels through the DVD player that I bought with the TV. Not true. However, upon calling Best Buy, they graciously sent me a ROKU stick at no charge to make up for the error. It means an extra remote, but that's ok.

The picture is sharp and deep with no loss of frames during action sequences. Sound quality is average from the built in speakers. Overall a good value for the price paid when discounted.

The old set was om its way out so I decided to check out the deals at Best Buy and have found my purchase to be exactly what I was looking for. Great picture and great features....

We really enjoy our new TV. It’s bigger that our last TV in our bedroom, but lighting took it out!! I can relax in the comfort of my bed and see a perfectly clear picture. Love it

This TV is fantastic! Easy to hook up and the picture is excellent! Just the right size and the dvd player and Playstations also attach easily. Am very happy with it so far.

Bought this as a replacement for a very old tv. Excellent picture, easy to install, and so lightweight.

The picture on the tv is great and really clear but the sound at times can almost sound muffled. It’s not to bad but I would recommend also investing in a sound bar if you want clearer audio.

The picture quality on this TV is fantastic! Great detail, color, and black levels. I also bought a Sony soundbar to go with this TV, but the sound coming out of the TV speakers is actually pretty good. I probably didn't even need the external speaker. The only negative I can think of - I wish the remote on this TV had a "guide" button so that I could use it with an antenna instead of cable box to get a channel guide.

Sony delivers a high quality product for a good price. I did research on a lot of TVs before settling on this one. It has a great picture and some excellent features like 1080p resolution, built-in wifi, 2 5w speakers, screen mirroring, and motionflow XR 240. It was very easy to setup and is very easy to operate. I am a big fan of Sony products.

This TV is amazing and it's not even the top model. After my Samsung stopped working 6 months ago (I'm done with them) I been TV searching I purchased this TV for my sister and will purchase the 55 in for myself. I was shock at how skinny it was out the box, and the picture is amazing. Sony is getting their name back in the tv market. Both my sister and I are really happy with this TV and the stand is very sophisticated.

Great clarity and color, compact size, easy installation

I absolutely love the crisp picture of this tv! We use this television in our bedroom so it's not huge, but the perfect 40 inch screen. Sound is great, too.

This was purchased for a low use spot in a vacation home, so price was a key factor. The picture is much better than we expected at this price point.

I read reviews of multiple TV's, talked with family & friends, and spoke with associate before deciding I'd go with a SONY tv. I didn't need a Smart TV, but they seemed to be in abundance. I liked how thin and light this tv was when I got it home. The picture color needed a lot of work though - yellow was very overpowering. I entered all my login info but had to do it again a couple times days later. Last night when I turned the tv on there was a message saying it needed to do a software update. I clicked ok. It said don't turn the tv off. I clicked ok. The tv never worked again. I even tried unplugging it overnight and trying again. Still no picture. Just a green light and a dimly lit dark blue screen. I bought the tv May 22, 2016 and it died June 8, 2016. I'm returning it today.

I purchased this TV for my bedroom and it works great. Easy to connect and set-up. The refresh rate is very good and the 1080 picture is great. I have the same Sony in my family room and it is the 49 inch. which also provides a excellent picture.

I had the Geek Squad install the TV because I needed my old, very heavy taken away, but think set up would have been easy. Haven’t had any problems so far.

I was amazed on how much better tv's are my sony 40 inch my tv was easy to set up via wifi & ready to go inside a half an hour thank you
