Good color in picture, enjoy the smart tv part, use it to listen to songs

I bought this TV because I wanted a Smart TV. I was helped in store and I was deciding between a Samsung and a Sony. I decided to go with the Sony because of the picture quality on colors. The pictures and colors look great. However, I find it unconvinient when I want to use Netflix or any other "Smart TV" apps but I constantly have to unplug the TV for a while in order to get the apps working again. I know it's not my Wifi because it works perfectly fine on my phone and other devices. Why make it a smart tv when those features do not work? I wish this would have happened while I could still return it. Now I'm stuck with it.

5 Star Performance. Excellent picture, contrast, color and natural skin tones. Very good audio as well. Would have liked Amazon App as I have Prime, however I am able to use use my Firestick from my other tv..

Bought this to replace a 720p Panasonic Plasma in the bedroom. Heard good things about Sony TV's. I liked that it has WIFI and Netflix but disappointed no Amazon Prime access. When I mounted my existing wall mount to the back of the TV it completely blocks access to the main HDMI input 1 which is the ARC input. Options were to buy another TV, buy another design of wall mount or I chose the 3rd option and used a hacksaw to cut out an access notch. My mount is a Roswell and seems universal. Take a look at the back if you plan to wall mount, the screws line up directly with the HDMI 1 port. Not very good planning on Sony's part.

I received this TV as a replacement for the TV I had purchased and had a shattered screen. This TV is absolutely fantastic. The picture is amazingly crisp and very clear. Love it!

This is a great TV with a great picture and sound. I don't get cable so I got an antenna and it comes in 720p or 1080i but looks like 1080p

This TV has a crisp, clear picture, which I have come to expect from Sony. It was easy to set up and works great.

This had the right number of connections and smart TV for my son's door room.

Picture is great, fairly easy set up, but I bought this model specifically for its advertised ability to surf the internet. It does not include a browser, just a limited number of apps, such as Netflix and Pandora. Also I don't know what MotionFlow 240 means but this TV has a 60Hz refresh rate just like any other average TV.

I own the 2015 version of this TV and I had to get another!

Excellent Smart TV. 1080p resolution which is excellent for bedroom tv.

I thought by paying extra and getting a Sony TV meant i'd be getting a better quality product, but I did not. The build quality felt very cheap. When I had to pick up and move the TV the bezel felt loose like it wasnt snapped into place. The outer frame feels flimsy. I much prefer the nice glossy ones other sets have. I still use older devices (nintendo wii, dvd/vcr combo) and to connect these requires a proprietary Sony cable that best buys and stores do not sell. If you need a replacement, you'll have to spend 30 minutes on the phone with Sony like I did. When I received the cable, I found that there was something wrong with the cable or TV and component and composite devices displayed in black and white. Sony had no solution but to send another cable and try again. This is ultimately the main reason why I took it back. These devices work fine on my replacement set. Sony also uses a proprietary laptop like AC adapter. Also an expensive pain to replace. Sony has a long history of doing things like this. (Expensive memory cards for the PSP) The Bravia's menu system is confusing. It took me forever to figure out how to delete my stored Netflix and Hulu info off the TV. Other TV's explain their settings with notes, but Sony does not. Sound isnt very good. I did not find an option to equalize the sound which would have been very helpful since different sources have hugely different sound output volumes. There were also times when I pressed the home button on the remote, so I can access the apps, and the TV simply did not respond. That was the second reason I had to exchange the TV. One good thing about the TV is it is impressively slim. So slim that I could not rest my Wii sensor bar on top of it without it falling off. Though this isnt a big deal to me. Another good thing is that it supported many file formats for playing my movie files off of my USB connect external HDD. The picture quality and brightness is very good too. Though these positives were not enough to make up for the negatives.

The picture was fantastic right out of the box. The audio however... I get better sound from my cellphone speaker. Would not recommend buying unless you have other audio options that you already have or are planning on buying.

I purchased this Sony because I used Sony credit card reward points and didn't have to pay out of my pocket. I don't have problems with buffering via WiFi, but Netflix can't load my preferences sometimes. I never had this problem on my 48" Samsung UN48H6400AF even though it's a lot farther away using WiFi. Sony's remote is user friendly and easy to navigate Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.The Sony's picture seems comparable to the Samsung. Samsung seems to have more and better apps for streaming. I've only been using the basics though - YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

Best Buy staff reviewed available 40" TV options with me. This was the best and most cost-effective product. We are very happy with it thus far.

It's okay tv. The picture is awesome. A year later I can't mirrored the tv with my phone. It freezes alot. The sound is very standard. We have Toshiba fire 4k tv and I love it from best buy.
