It has a great picture, lots of options for streaming in case you don't have any other boxes, plenty of HDMI ports, and is super lightweight. The cords tuck into the stand so are mostly hidden. Only issue is the remote, while nice looking, is hard to use to actual streaming content. Features founds on streaming boxes, e.g. 10-second repeat, don't exist, and the rewind button is barely useable.

After a month of searching for a good quality 4k tv I decide to purchase this one. The price is good for what you get with a Sony 4k, it has all the smart features you could want in a tv. For example: Hulu, Netflix, movie rental through various apps like fandango, etc. Also, I use this for a PS4 to game. Games like COD and Fallout 4 are great on it, crisp picture and no lag. Well worth the money.

My mother was needing a new TV and finally decided to get a new TV. She has a smaller home so space was an issue. I talked her into this TV to future proof herself. TV was paired with a Samsung 4k UHD player. Picture is crisp and well defined. My mother is in love with the TV. My only complaint would be the viewing angles. It loses quailty at an angle. But head on like my mother watches. Perfect!

Short of getting one of the giant OLED displays, this TV stands out as the best choice in the ~43" range. 240hz, 4k display, the picture does not disappoint. Built in chromecast connects flawlessly to my accounts and setup was a breeze using my phone. Free Sony Remote application available on android as well, which was an unexpected plus. Had this TV a month now, and still loving it.

Picture really pops, but color fades out if not directly in front of this tv, poor wide-angle viewing. Dynamic contrast, very white whites and total black. Sound is acceptable, but still needs a sound-bar. Simulated surround not impressive. Extensive picture adjustment available. There is nearly zero by way of printed user manual. The manual is within the tv, press "help" in lower left of remote. The set-up instructions don't direct the user to this feature.

SONY IS BY FAR AHEAD OF THE PAK IN HI DEF TV,S.I WOULD OF GIVEN 5 STARS BUT FOR ONLY 2 SMALL QUIRKS. THE FIRST IS THE REMOTE. THE ARROWS SECTION THAT NAVIGATES UP DOWN AND SIDE WAYS IS SO SMALL I WOULD FREQUENTLY HIT THE BUTTONS SURROUNDING THE CIRCLE AREA . THERE IS JUST NOT ENOUGH SPACE BETWEEN THEM AND IT GETS VERY ANNOYING!!! THE NEXT QUIRK I HAVE IS UNLIKE OTHER TV'S YOU CANT SET PICTURE ADJUST FOR ALL INPUTS YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH EACH INPUT TO GET THE RIGHT BRIGHTNESS AND SO FORTH. BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE THIS 4K HAS THE BEST PICTURE IN THE BUSINESS.

The HDR on this model is great. Keep in mind for a tv this size, at 4k resolution an optimal viewing distance is something around 3 feet... That's computer monitor distance. Kind of wish I went for a larger model but this fits my space well and is excellent in dark rooms. Best view is directly in front, viewing from above or below gives a black bar type shadow.

This is my Xth Sony TV. I have been buying Sony TVs since the 1970's. Every non-Sony TV I've owned since my 1st has been somewhat disappointing. Every Sony has been better and better and this newest one is no exception. I am DELIGHTED. I need another 2 TV's before the end of the year, and they'll both be Sony Ultra HD 4K's with HDR. Love 'em!

Were faced with limited wall space between a door and a window at our cabin. This 43inch Gem gave us the quality and color perfection known to SONY. The smart features are readily usable, and we are very pleased with this selection's quality and dependability. Going to Best Buy meant we had a very wide selection with instant comparison of competing models and brands. Perfect!

Excellent TV for our bedroom. I bought without instruction booklet & stands so wall mounted. Great features & quality for price. Still getting familiar with all features!

This is a beautiful looking, light weight TV. Nice clear picture. It is a little hard for me to figure out, but good for my youngest sons room...and he had no problem.

Superb picture and I love the IR Blaster a feature that allows the use of the TV remote to be used to change channels without the remote for your cable or satalite box

I use this TV to stream 4k videos, and PS4 pro. It's very compatible other SONY products, the PS4 controller can be used for it as example. The built-in chromecast is an awesome feature all I do is right click a video file and boom plays as if its another monitor hooked up wireless. So if you like your games and movies looking great with the new 4k HDR standard but don't want to break the bank get this now.

We are really enjoying having a new larger TV- the Sony 43" 4K HD, The picture is great looks almost like people are in the room, the color is much more intense. We should have bought one much sooner. Have had a Sony TV before and prefer them over other brands.

This is my second Sony 4K. I have a 55" in my living room and I got this 43" for my bedroom. I think the size is great for an average master bedroom. The quality is just as good as my previous Sony 4K TV and I noticed the menu and remote is slightly updated. I do like the subtle updates to the menu and remote. My only wish is the remote could light up for using at night. Overall very happy with this TV.

Very happy with tv. Great picture, good stand, nice thin bezel. Don't like the remote, but usually control through AV receiver so don't mind much.

My old sony 46" lcd tv just went out after 8yrs in my bedroom I needed a new one. After looking at a few on line thinking 4k tv would be good to have whole seeing some at very good prices, the 4k tv's that I seen all had low refresh rate of only 60 which I was not sold on. Even though it was going in the bedroom I still wanted something of good quality and price. My budget was roughly $400 but after going back to best buy later the same day looking further this sony 4k caught my eye. The picture quality is phenomenal and a has a very high refresh rate and contrast. I have to add also I was thinking back and forth on what to get cause this was over my initial budget but only by 200 more. The best buy associate that helped me was very knowledgeable and very patient while making my decision and it was about 10 min after closing. But after making the decision it was the best one not only is the quality good I love it cause it has android capibilty to mirror with your phone. As well as being a smart tv it is great with anyone having purchased movies on the Google play store or downloaded digital copy from blurays that play on Google. If so that will read off your phone on to the tv to watch without actually mirroring or casting to your t.v. This is a great t.v. and I will definitely get another to go in the basement as well.

Love this TV. Just about everything is really good about this TV especially at the price point. The color, the crisp dark blacks, the brightness, 4K, the speed at which it turns on, and it's Android OS is awesome. My only gripe is the remote could use backlighting and it doesn't work all that well with controlling my Comcast DVR. But I definitely recommend this TV

I bought this tv to replace an older Sony Bravia 36 flat screen. It was a 720p. This picture jumps out at you. Super clear and I'm not even using the 4K. My DirecTV box isn't 4K so I can thus far only imagine how much better the picture would be. I'm going to get a 4K box ASAP. The smart tv aspects are great. It's connects effortlessly to my home wireless network.
