This Sony TV 2016 model has the best picture quality, clarity, and color range of any <55inch TV currently on the market. The smart features are a bonus and I find myself using the TV's built in apps more than I used to use my phone and my old chromecast (the TV also has a built-in chromecast).

Excellent TV at a very reasonable price. I had an old Sony LCD and decided that it was time for me to upgrade to a smart TV and do not regret it for a second. Picture quality is great and being an android make it so easy and friendly to use!!!

We have owned Sony TVs for many years and looked at other brands, but bought another Sony. It is so easy to use Netflix and the color is great. The only 2 negatives I have are: the remote control buttons (with functions) could have been patterned better, and when I sit to the side of the tv, the color is washed out. Otherwise, the tv is great.

The picture is excellent, but I found that for use as a computer monitor it's resolution isn't quite the same as more expensive models. No surprise spending twice as much gets you better quality. While the engineers deserve praise, the marketing people at Sony deserve to be fired. The smart TV functions took a good while to master and some heavy internet researching to remove the countless apps Sony shoves in your face. It's annoying that you're subjected to the marketing pitches of apps you'll never use for a product you OWN. You inexplicably cannot disable DirectTV, VUDU and a bunch of Google Play junk I'll never use. Additionally the dedicated "Google Play" & "Netflix" buttons on the remote are shameless marketing plugs. It's absurd. Once you customize the stupidly named, "Discover" button on the remote you can avoid ever entering the main "Home" menu again - this is where all the un-deletable app bloatware lives. It would also be nice if you could program the remote to operate another brand's soundbar or other AV accessories, but it only operates Sony's stuff. So now I have to use my Samsung remote for volume and the Sony's for TV. Another example of the long con in modern life.

Picture quality is good. Sound is a little weak but acceptable. Navigating menus is a bit ackward. Three times in three months, TV has turned itself on with no apparent cause.

This TV provided everything I was looking for in a new flat screen. It’s easy to set up in smart mode and I’d highly recommend it.

I did my own fine tuning for the set up, I made adjustment to the color and stuff. The more I look at the TV the clearer it gets. -1 star for bad viewing angles ips panel have better viewing angles this is a va panel. I can not recommend this because of the viewing angles if you are viewing directly in front of the TV no problem like me.

great tv but to small had to return for the 48 inch the new tvs now hae no border so you can go bigger in size then you used to. picture is great, sound is impressive fast to conect to wifi, only negative is the remote dosnt light up, so at night in dark hard to read it.

I went in to purchase another Samsung TV. I purchase two Samsungs from Best Buy in August 2016 . Instead I had heard and read about Sony, so when the sales person showed me the Sony and told me the difference, I decided it was worth the extra cost. After installation of the TV, I was really impressed by the picture and the ease of operation.

Best LED edge lit picture quality that I witnessed with the 2015 models. This model was a home run on the part of Sony.

This TV has exceeded all my expectations, great color and functionality. The Android OS allows you to install anything on the Google PlayStore. 4K HDR makes any picture look amazing, even OTA content. GT on Amazon is insane, sometimes too much detail.

I purchased the Sony 43" 4K TV as an upgrade to an older Samsung 32" TV for my bedroom. The image quality on the Sony is great especially when watching 4K content, IE Netflix and Amazon Video 4K programming. The only downside is the remote control could be a lot better, no back light and clunky controls.

This TV is a great purchase for the money. Have not been disappointed at all. Clear picture and great sound.

This is the first Sony TV I have bought. I usually go with Samsung but after reading the reviews, I decided to try this TV. I am not disappointed!! The color is excellent and the picture quality even with just normal HD DIRECTV is amazing. If you are in the market for a 43", you should give this TV a try.

this TV is such a great Value, has android TV, smart apps HDR 4k capabilities at a price that is more than reasonable. bought it recently and i love it. you can really customize this TV to fit your needs. definitely the android power user's TV

I could not be happier with this Sony 4k television. The picture is fantastic and it is so easy to set up. As with most new tv's a sound bar or audio system is needed as the internal speakers are too small to deliver proper bass.

Good buy. I was amazed at everything this TV can do. Mirror my tablet, show me who is calling, etc,. I had read online that the sound with the newer TVs was not that good because the TVs were so thin but, this TV has better sound than any of the TVs i have bought. I am very happy with it.

i have owned Sony TV"S for the most of 30 years . excellent product but my sister brought a Samsung smart tv and the picture was beautiful i was gonna purchase the same tv until i saw the Sony Smart ultra k tv on display and said to heck with samsung Once you buy SONY YOU STAY WITH SONY

This is a great TV. It has an excellent picture, all of the features that I want, and it is easy to setup. The only two comments I have are: (1) the sound quality is not the best, so I ended up going back and buying a sound bar; and (2) the viewing angle is not very wide.

This TV has an amazing picture and features. I would definitely recommend this for direct viewing because it does get a little hazy from a side view. We use it as our bedroom tv and are directly in front of it.
