I first bought a less expensive 40" Samsung, and was so disappointed with the overall picture generally and the color clarity and intensity specifically that I returned it, and bought this more expensive Sony after reading its reviews here and on other sites. I'm SO glad I didn't settle on the Samsung. This Sony is worth every additional penny I paid for it. Highly recommend.

I bought this TV to go along with my PS4 pro, and wow! When you have a game that is HDR compatible the results are breathtaking! Unfortunately HDR media is currently hard to find (besides games) but this Sony will make 1080P media look better too. I noticed a big difference in the blacks compared to my 4 year old Samsung. Great TV, especially if you have 4K HDR gaming unit.

The picture is everything promised! VIVID BEAUTIFUL DETAIL! Easy set-up, remote works everything..the wireless surround, the ultra tv box/dvr, apps, you name it...ONE REMOTE! I am a novice, not necessarily a techy person per say and I LOVE THIS TV. Smooth streaming Vudu, Netflix, etc. Everything works as promised and it walks you through anything and everything! Always been a SONY person and they have yet to offer anything less than the BEST!

Needed something that fit in my cabinet. I bought another TV 40" had to take it back because picture kept scrambling. I decided to try Sony which cost a little more. Picture is amazing! I agree with other reviews that picture gets white-washed when viewing from side but overall the quality is awesome. Sounds is adequate but better than most other TVs this size. I plugged in computer speakers and the sound is good. I highly recommend this TV.

I was trying to stay within my budget of $400 max. Bought and returned 3 Sony TVs that were just OK but fell short of what I could live with. So I waited until I could spend a little more and I am extremely glad I did. This TV is a real bargain for this level of quality. Be advised it needs a little time to break in and some minor adjustments but after that it rivals several of my friends much more expensive sets. Very highly recommended.

Smart TV functions and menus are easy to learn. Picture with upscaling is incredible. HDR gives you incredible blacks. Sony is the only name in tv's

This tv has everything I was looking for (HDR, 4K, lots of hdmi ports) and produces a great picture. Great tv for the price in my opinion.

Great tv. Easy to set up and use. Nice colors. Only complaint is keys on remote don't light up.

I was looking for a new hi-def tv to replace my aging, but excellent Vizio. After looking @ a few different models, I settled on my Sony 43" smart tv. I would liked to have been able to get a bigger one, but space was limited. The 43" Sony exceeded my experienceses with the Vizio in every way! Totally blown away by the picture quality!! If this tv lasts as long as the Vizio did, I will definitely be back for another Sony!!!

The setup was very easy the controls are very easy to use. The picture is a very sharp quality

This is a great TV especially for it's size and the features you get. Sony's image processing is definitely the best there is combined with HDR in such a small size. It's thin and looks premium, also Android TV OS is very feature rich, it doesn't lag either. I tried a Samsung 40 inch 4k TV before the Sony and I didn't like the over saturation that Samsung does with their TV's, this Sony just feels so much superior

The tv I am reviewing has a great picture and many nice features. However, the manual leaves much to be desired. The setup of the tv requires you to agree with all the android policies or it will just start the setup process again. Very frustrating. Also, when I was trying to use the voice control function I somehow switched the tv to cable input. This took a while to figure out. I think that once I am used to the idieosyncracys, it should be fine. Great tv but it takes patience to use all the features.

Works well, great picture, easy setup. This is a return to Sony after years of LG use, and I have no regrets. Highly recommend.

Excellent 4K HDR TV for an excellent price. Picture looks great and sound is good as well. HDR is a pure pleasure. For the price, this TV is easily the best in it's class.

I thought my old 1080p sharp was good but this TV is the bomb. 4k n HDR are the future.

great pic. make sure you turn on the HDR for full 4K in the settings for the HDMI
