This is my 2nd Sony 43" 4K TV. I liked the 1st one so much I bought another one. This one has HDR which I can't speak on yet because I have not used it. The picture is nice and it has enough inputs for my sources. I am using this TV as my PC monitor right now but will transition it to a TV when I purchase a dedicated PC monitor. I play games on it that play pretty good with my GTX 1070.

We bought this Sony TV for my wife's parents, and we (and they) are very happy with it. The picture is excellent, and generally we like the latest version of the Android TV OS. The Sony remote is also better than what competitors offer–this might seem like a minor thing but it really helps with the overall user experience. The only complaints are the sound, which could be a bit better, and it would be nice to be able to create a list of 'favorite' apps for ready access.

I purchased this unit, because it played my videos nicely in the store. Now that I have owned it for a while, I'm not sure I would purchase it again. I think the menu system is confusing and if I want to see some of the video specs, I have to go into the menus and change it. There is a "Display" button, but it does not work on every video. The picture quality is very good. It also works as a computer monitor. One BIG problem, My Samsung S5 or S4 phone, will not mirror with it. Sony says "Sorry, but too bad" Would I recommend to a friend? Maybe, if they just wanted to watch TV.

This is my first 4K set and will likely be my primary TV for a while. I mainly use my TV for gaming and wanted something that could upscale 1080p content well and had low input lag and this fits the bill. The only serious knock I have against it is the viewing angles are not great. When you're on the side of the TV, red is noticeably orange (you can really see this in games like Hotline Miami). For how I use my TV - sitting in front of it on a couch - it's a non-issue.

Picture quality is good, sound is decent for a stand alone tv, I use this tv for gaming and the 4k hdr is amazing!

Best tv you can get your hands on for this size(43"). It is a 4k with HDR that can give you picture quality as good as mid range tvs over $1k. Low input lag for gaming for HD and 4K HDR Gaming. I would choose this over the new X900E model which doesn't have better picture quality, it's power brick, and of course it's price compared to this one. Get it before it's gone!

The 43" Sony smart TV was a great buy. Excellent picture and easy to use

I bought this to replace an old 32" 720p Sony. I am greatly pleased as there is so much more detail in the games I was playing. I had several "I've never seen that before" moments seeing the games on this newer, bigger screen. The Netflix app and setup were also great. Fantastic new tv. My only con: speakers and sound setting had to be played with to adjust to my liking.

TV was easy to setup and adjust. Probably best to stick with Sony devices. Although, it did not work well with my Sony soundbar I had purchased a year ago. I ended up purchasing a universal remote to control everything through a single remote. I would have thought Sony devices would all automatically sync, but no.

Great quality pictures. The colors were great. I really enjoy watching movies on it.

I went into Bestbuy on a whim to look at new TVs. When I saw this TV I thought it would be perfect for my bedroom. The TV is great and the picture quality is so much better than the Samsung Smart TV that I have in my living room. Every time we turn on the TV we can't help but comment on how great and noticeable the picture quality is from the other TVs that we own!

I researched all the TV's in this category. Sony had the best reviews so I decided to try it, Not at all disappointed. Beautiful, crisp picture. The sales person who helped me was a young man named Jason. He was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of necessary items to go wth the Sony to give me the viewing capabilities that I was looking for.

Nice picture and somewhat easy controls .. handy to have a smart tv for watching hulu and Netflix.

This tv has very good color and fast resolution. Very fair price. The 800 series is what you want.

I have owned this tv for a month or so now and the picture is awesome. The sound is okay for a flat screen. I am completely satisfied with the product, it's just that I haven't figured out how to get my sound bar to turn off when I turn off my tv, which my previous unit did. Also there are so many presets for the picture it would be great if they had a quick menu to pick one, instead of having to go through the main menu.
