We debated about TVs and have had bad experiences with Samsung TV's in the past so this time we decided to splurge on a Sony. The TV has great picture quality, and the sound is pretty good. We like the SMART TV option as well as we can stream Netflix, Amazon etc....without the use of a smart stick. There are probably less expensive TVs on the market, but if you want a quality product, give the SONY a try.

Great picture, easy setup, however, as expected, did have to purchase a soundbar which made the television that much greater. I love the clarity and ease of use it provides.

This is my 4th Sony HDTV and they just keep getting better and better. You can't go wrong with this set. The price is high, but so far no complaints. The Samsung is pretty close and is cheaper. So, if price is of concern, then get that. Otherwise, get this Sony.

Picture is fantastic including from wide angles. Sound is average which is typical of TVs in this class. Had audio problems when connecting laptop to TV; cuts in and out intermittently which made it annoying. Bought and hooked up external speakers to the laptop. Customer service was responsive however they couldn't figure out how to resolve. Knocked a star off because of this.

There is a problem after downloading software version v4.721-10500-0005. I have my satellite receiver connected to an HDMI input. The TV's info banner comes on when changing channels on the satellite receiver. The TV's info banner covers the satellite receiver's info banner. I have a DVR connected to another HDMI input. The TV's info banner comes on after fast forwarding recorded video and going back to play. Turning off the info banner also shuts it off when changing TV channels. Before the update, the info banner would only come on when changing inputs or channels. I returned the first TV because of this, and now the 2nd also does this after taking the update, so it is a software bug. This is very annoying.

great picture and easy to hook up. Like the size of it

Our old tv in our bedroom went kaput. Needed a new one relatively quickly. Perfect size for our bedroom. So easy to hook up to our internet. Good picture and sound.

Compared to our ten-year old Sony, this one has a much more detailed picture when the incoming signal is true HD. The Smart function let's us click the Netflix button on the remote, giving us instant access to the shows we enjoy watching. A good TV at a decent price.

I gave this to my sister and niece for an early Xmas present and it is just wonderful. Geek Squad did the delivery/ setup and it went smooth as silk. The picture is gorgeous and my family is thrilled. Sony is the best but this TV surpassed our expections.

This model uses different (IPS) screen technology then (VA) technology used by comparable Samsung TV sets. It displays clean, clear, bright colors, clean whites with no bluish tint which is a problem with other TVs. It is suited for well lit rooms, so windows in the room do not cause a problem. Did not need any adjustments... colors were natural, perfect right out of the box. One click to Netflix, one click back to TV function. Pleasing me, pleasing my wife. Five stars.

This is my 4th Sonny TV and I am thrilled with it. It is perfect for my bedroom. Very easy set up for a 73 yr Lady. Light and easy to lift as well. Outstanding picture and love that Netflix comes up with the push of one button!

I have been a long-time fan of Sony products and this TV did not disappoint. I am locked into a 43" size because of my entertainment armoire but still have more picture with the new design. I love this TV!!

I had bought this TV to downsize from a 65” and was nervous because I was use to the larger size and quality. This size I purchased was perfect and clarity was incredible. Definitely would buy again !

My 1st Sony. (43"Smart 4K 2160p TV) Pricier then the Samsung - decided to go for it. Glad I did. Picture is really sharp and defined. Sound is good. Easy to operate. Home hub that leads to the usual suspects - Nexflix, Google Play, Vudu, Amazon Prime video etc. If you can deal with the price - wonderful TV.

Bought it as open boxed, right out of the box, wasn't happy with the picture. Followed the settings from RTINGS and tweaked it for brightness and contrast for my room, Man what a change, picture is almost as good as my other TV, which is a 930 series. For a price around 450-475 for 43 inch, I think this is a good TV for watching TV shows and sports in an open well lit room. The TV is very light and has a good viewing angle. I am not using any smart features, cause I have a Roku so no comment on that.
