Good value for its size - very good picture qualit

The first question it asks in power up is “Enable Google TV”. I answered no, and didn’t connect it to the WiFi. Now it acts like a 4K monitor for my DVR, which is exactly what I wanted.

Perfect bedroom tv

It can get quite bright when the sun hits it and dim enough not to blind me at night. Android TV OS is smooth and responsive. I'll admit, its expensive for a Budget line, but im a bit of a Sony fan boy.

Clunky and laggy

Navigating menus is clunky at best. Opening the Hulu app takes MINUTES. Opening an app should take 5-10 seconds, I timed it yesterday as I'm so frustrated with this thing anymore, 1 minute 27 seconds just to open the app. Last week it recently started doing this thing where in the middle of a program, whether it's Hulu, Prime, Netflix, doesn't matter, it will abruptly stop and start flashing the home screen on 5-8 second intervals and become unusable. I can't navigate anything, can't get to settings, menus, nothing. I have to hold down the power button on the remote and select restart, which takes absurdly long to fire back up. I have a 65 inch Sony X77 in my living room that works flawlessly, so I don't know what the deal is with this 43 inch but I surely regret buying it. Especially since it's near the top in price compared other manufacturers in this size,
