I told the sales person at Best Buy that picture clarity was the most important thing to me in a television. He recommended this Sony 43" 4K Smart TV over the Samsungs and LGs because the Sonys are known for picture clarity. So I purchased it to replace my little old Toshiba 720 HDTV, and I am shocked to say that my dated Toshiba has more consistent and sharp viewing on all channels than this "Smart" Sony. When I replaced the Toshiba with this Sony, I was shocked to experience major blurriness, dramatic inconsistent picture viewing from one channel to another (and even while watching just one channel), and juddering---no matter how many adjustments I make. I'm not an expert, but I've had to learn all about picture adjustments on this TV, and it seems that is all I do. Each time I turn the channel, there is such a major difference from one channel to another in picture clarity and color, and I am sickened that I cannot get rid of the one consistent thing--a blurry picture. I regret buying this television.

When a video in SD quality is being scaled up and played back, the quality will may poor, even on an HDTV. Try to check other channels to see if you will get the same result. Kindly make sure the TV runs the latest software version.

Only way to get this looked at is to schedule a time for them to come look at it. Since it is a 43" it can't be dropped off at store! Appointment window is basically all day possibly waiting.
