I thought I’d spend a bit extra on a more expensive TV, but when I watch a show with very bright colors the color is embarrassing. I probably could have bought a cheaper TV that works just the same or better. Otherwise it does work okay.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After seeing those many good reviews, I returned back Samsung 7 series (that unfortunately didn’t play AVI movies) and took home this tv. Compared to Samsung, while my exchanged Samsung TV was much cheaper, this Sony felt few decades older! I connected the same SSD (that Samsung played without any problem except its avi files) to this TV, but to my surprise it not only couldn’t access any folders, but also couldn’t play even one file (it could play movies from a 32GB flash drive without problem). It looked like sony had problem with accessing big hard drives (my 2011 Samsung didn’t have problem reading a 2 TB hard disk). I didn’t have any way except returning it back to BestBuy and buy a series 6 Samsung. Unfortunately it couldn’t play avi files either, but that’s all it problem!
