I really like this TV, as long as I'm not using the native smart features. I have an Apple TV plugged into it and that's the only way it is usable. The andriod tv interface is so confusing and I find that the TV is not very user friendly, and i'm a pretty tech-savvy guy. Also, I can't get the channels to work when i attach an antenna to it, which has been frustrating. I don't need it because i use YouTube TV, but it would be nice to have the antenna option available to me.

The biggest TV my built in cabinets can accept is a 43" model. After doing an internet search, I decided to go to both Costco and Best Buy to look at the options. While this Sony TV was the least expensive, it certainly had the best picture and features. I am very pleased with this TV.

The colors on the screen are vivid to watch. The size of the tv is exact what we wanted. I can't wait until our TV provider carries 4k hi so we can watch the true effects of the tv. There are some apts that carry 4k hi already.

Sony TVs are undoubtedly the best, I bought this TV to replace a $2000 10 year old Sony that my dog broke. This TV is great quality for the price, but you get what you pay for. The speakers are ok, the picture is good, but compared to my previous tv it is not bear as nice.

When properly calibrated this 43" Sony XBR 4K TV looks really great. This can be done by carefully dialing in the picture by trial and error using only the TV Menu Settings. Purchased this TV for general TV Program Viewing. Purchased this TV when first released at a nice price from Best Buy.

I had this TV mounted in my bedroom so I could watch the end of ballgames while getting the kids ready for bed. The picture quality is phenomenal! This is the second Sony 4K TV I’ve bought and I am very happy with both of them. They come loaded with useful apps and are chromecast ready.

I enjoyed watching my DVD's and Blu-ray's on this Sony 4K set. However, I DID HAVE A PROBLEM; which I do not blame on the set itself, but on the apparent lack of compatibility between the set and the (said to be obsolete) Pioneer video player. I chose this Sony 4K TV set because it has Component Video inputs; and my Pioneer DVL-919 Laser Disc player has Component Video Outputs. The picture quality from the Pioneer player is adequate, but every time I play the 12" disc through it, the blue screen on the set turns gray, the words COMPONENT OFF appears on the screen, and throughout the whole 'show' from disc I only get a black & white signal from the Laser Disc player. Also there have been blank & silent spots interrupting the show, which have been annoying to me. Best Buy's GEEK SQUAD told me that nothing can be done about this problem, and they advised me to get a modulator which converts COMPONENT to HDMI; which I tried, but I still got the same result: black & white picture and blank/silent interruptions! MY FAVORITE LASER DISC is the Demonstration Disc, made back in early 1981, which I finally received through Amazon a month ago; and I don't want to give that disc up! If there really is no way to correct this problem, is there a way I can either have this video transferred, color signal and all, onto DVD; or have Pioneer transcribe the "master tape" of the Demonstration Disc onto DVD?

    Best and Only Sony 43"

Was interested in the 900 series but don't know why Sony doesn't offer it in 43" so bought this instead despite the fact we were told that just one lamp illuminates from bottom of screen and heats up. The 900 series has multiple led sections. Disappointed that the bezel is cheap shiny plastic and the feet are awkward, plus the screen tilts forward ever so slightly. But for the price it is a nice picture and the remote is improved slightly over my 2017 65" Sony.

I picked this up for my son's bedroom so he can watch TV and play his Nintendo Switch games on the big screen instead of portable mode when my wife and I are using the big TV in the living room. Picture quality is very good and the games run smoothly on it as well.

Great TV for us. Our 1st smart TV and really enjoying having Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc available without having to use a Firestick. Good picture quality. Love that you can select subtitles. Good quality. Have had no problems.

Wide viewing angle for a LCD. Was concerned on the viewing angle since it is replacing a Plasma which is still my choice “if only they were still available”. It’s nice having a smart TV no fire stick needed.

Tv has been working like a charm. Good quality and great features. Sound I had to buy a sound bar as I needed more sound but tv sound is not bad for most rooms. I like a little loud and base. Overall a great TV.

Just purchased my second Sony XBR43x800g TV this year. We are recovering from a lightning strike earlier this year and replacing things little by little. The Sony is definitely not the least expensive TV in this size, but the picture quality is worth the extra $$$

Beautiful set, but I cannot stream Spectrum TV, so I added a Roku stick so I can stream my cable through that app (use the cable box on another set in another room). If you need to do this too, use the main remote for everything else - the Netflix app on Roku makes me sign in every time, whereas the Netflix from the main remote doesn't make me sign in once initialized. Beautiful set - very much enjoy it watching TV in my bedroom.

Was looking for a TV to replace a 32" TV in my bedroom. I have to really thank the BB rep for showing me this one that was on sale certified open box. Price was 300 bucks lower and this is one great TV. And my wall mount from my old tv FIT THIS TV.

My new Sony is perfect for me. It has an excellent picture plus it is just the right size for the living area. The only drawback is the sound is not the same on all channels. I know this is an issue with flat screens, but overall that is the only issue.

We are really enjoying our Sony TV. The picture is very colorful and clear. This is the first Sony TV that we have owned and when we need a new TV, it will be a Sony. Sony was rated #1 in the Consumer's Report, and they were correct in that rating.
