Sony clear winner of 43" tv

Checked both on display at Best Buy. There were similar, but the Sony looked better, but I got the Samsung instead. It took less than 10 days to realize I made a mistake. Got the Sony and a world of difference! And, it was on sale $150 off to sweeten the deal. I have a 65" Samsung Q90 that is love and got the Q60, thinking it would be the same, but it is not. Bland colors no matter how much I adjusted. Buy the Sony!

I've never had a Sony product so I'm checking EVERYTHING out about my new TV. I mostly use it to watch Perry Mason, the news and as a second monitor but I have the options for many programs, movies, streaming services and to play my music on. The sound is clear and balanced. Time will tell all stories but so far so good. For the price I paid I'm very satisfied.

One of the sales reps talked me up to this bad boy as I was considering a less expensive Samsung . I thought it was an up sale but oh man it wasn’t . Worth every penny . This TV is so much better than my previous Samsung’s ! The picture quality is perfect and best of all the user interface is flawless . Zero lag totally replaces the need for a fire stick and destroys Samsung’s interface . No cons at all with this TV . It’s worth the extra money .

No problems on setup, no problems unboxing. Best buy and UPS did a good job of delivering it to me. I was concerned over a UPS delivery but my fears were ungrounded. This set meets my expectations. color is good, things look great in 4k, and while yes I'm sure a set for $3,000 would have a much better picture I'm happy with what I got. I didn't come into this with unrealistic expectations.

When I read the reviews and saw Best Buy had this, I purchased it. It has a great picture that was made even better by fine tuning it (This is in the custom setting.), I have not used the sound but run the sound through my AVR. My only complaint is that even on line it does not have as detailed an owner's manual as my old set. Wow! I'm thankful I've bought it.

Needs HDMI inputs on back as a option. Side connections ok but show cords if not flexible. Works good with my older Marantz 1.4 version HDMI AVR and upscales just about everything well. I was told the 2.2 HDMI wouldn’t work well with 1.4 version HDMI on my older Marantz AVR but it seems to be compatible with no issues. I’m sure it would be even better with a newer 4K AVR but this is very expensive to upgrade a new AVR.

Same goes for this one. Althought it isn't a top end unit the picture is very good. Reviews said there would be a problem in dark rooms but we have it in a BR that is completely dark and the picture is extremely bright, no problems. Side view is also very good. 0 complaints about this TV, we love it. Also seems the be the smallest size that Sony makes now and we were worried it might be too large for the BR. Turned out perfect.

Beautiful 4k smart Television

I am very loyal to the Sony brand since all my old Sony TV’s (some 15+ years old) are still working with beautiful pictures to date. I decided it was time to upgrade to a smart 4k TV and I am very impressed and glad to be free of my Roku for this TV. My only wish is that it allowed the AppleTV app along with Hulu, Peacock, HBOMax, etc. like some Samsung’s do.

Glare/reflections are handled well (not much glare from room lighting). The sound quality is not top-notch but is good enough. The motion handling is good, not great (as there is some noticeable motion blur, but it's tolerable). This is an excellent value, a really great TV for a reasonable price.

Works great as a 4K PC monitor

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not all TVs make good PC monitors: you need a TV that supports 4K 60fps over HDMI and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. This TV does both and even supports HDR video if you graphics card and OS do as well. It's also very good as a calibrated monitor for photo editing: the "Photos" picture preset is quite close to sRGB and calibration made minor changes. I run two 43" Sony TVs as monitors for my PC and, once you've tried that, you'll never want to go back. FYI, most graphics cards these days have only one HDMI output, but an ACTIVE DisplayPort to HDMI adaptor will run the TV at 4K 60fps..
