Best $500 ever spent

Power cord is short. I Love the fact that the TV has the same interface as the Nvidia Shield. If your using the TV in a dark room you will not regret this purchase.

The Sony replaced an old 720 LG 32” set. This Sony has deep blacks and a crisp and detailed picture. It is a smart TV also, but I choose to use my external devices to watch programs through the media services.

As true of all Sony products price is on the high side. It would be nice if there was greater range of volume. Easily adapts to game play even with older game systems with $10 accessory. My review won’t count for much because I don’t have a clue on setting it up. My son-in-law didn’t have any problems though. I think most of my issues will deal with problems with each app. For instance, why can I not get closed captioning on Hulu? But, again, nice picture!

Overall amazing but lacks clear sound

The only issue we have is with the sound. Our previous TV we could listen as around 25% volume to hear well, With this Sony we are never below 50% and sometimes must go all the way up to distinguish talking from other sounds. You Need a sound bar in my opinion

The sound is better than other tv’s out there. You might pay more for this tv but you can see and hear the difference. And the price is still a very good one.
