I comparable model samsung is nearly $200 dollars cheaper and although the picture quality of the sony is evidently better but the higher cost is not justifed.

We had a little challenge playing back DVD's with scenes that are dimly lit, but we were able to adjust the settings to view the movie.

Have always liked the Sony TVs

We have to force restart the tv to get the sound back. The picture is great. We purchased a Sony sound bar for the sound.

Even though Best Buy doesn’t show my purchase of said 43” 4K device (along with my 5-year Geek Squad protection plan I paid at the time of said purchase) on my account on the Best Buy app, even with me politely requesting by email and also providing Best Buy customer service a scanned pic of my hard copy receipt (and that was a month ago with no update to speak of to that Best Buy account) the insistent bullying-style emailing at me to rate my purchase is eliciting this pseudo-enthusiastic account of how I feel about my purchase. The long and short of it is, I paid for it, it works fine, get on with life.
