As that is delegate to hdmi 2.1 that the unit doesn’t have. Also the latest firmware has cause the operating system to go terribly slow and often loses audio connection requiring you to restart the TV every time. The still picture quality is nice though.

The picture quality of the TV will actually depend on the input source that you're playing. You may try to change the picture settings. Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — then select Auto picture mode. This will automatically select the picture mode based on the content being viewed. You can also configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size.

Unfortunately, the X800H doesn't support HDMI 2.1 features. The TVs that will support the HDMI 2.1 features via software update are XBR X900H / 90CH and Z8H.
