Great SMART TV

It is great for clarity, options...etc. The only thing is, it is too challenging for dad at his age to grasp the many platforms that it offers. I have had to answer many questions and will continue to do so as long as dad lives. I have had to learn the tv quickly so I can diagnose where he is and get him out and to the platform that he wants to be in.

It practically talks to me, runs my apps, and can work with my android phone though I have not yet set it up. I use a wall mount from Sanus to safely anchor to the wall in a bedroom. A good purchase for my needs and bright and crisp picture definition.

YOU CAN'T BEAT A SONY

I HAD A LITTLE DIFFICULTY SETTING IT UP BECAUSE I DIDN'T RTSS (READ THE SCREEN STUPID). AFTER I FIGURED OUT EWHERE MY PROBLEM WAS, THE FACTORY SETUP NEEDED ONLY SLIGHT ADJUSTMENTS. I ENDED UP WITH ONE OF THE BEST SCREENS THAT I EVER HAD.

Blue Tooth has been around for 15 + years and Sony can not support it on a new 2020 internet ready TV. A $200 LG system from Walmart supports blue tooth, so why can't Sony I am boxing this back up and returning to Best Buy to get my $700 back

Thank you for choosing and purchasing our Sony X800H Ultra HD Smart TV.
The TV does not natively support Bluetooth audio out (mainly used for headphones). This feature may work with a compatible external USB Bluetooth Adapter or 3rd party Bluetooth applications that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
For connections to a sound bar or sound system, we recommend using HDMI via ARC port from the source to the TV.

Excellent compact 4K TV

It even has built-in Airplay feature so that I can easily project what's playing on my iPad to the TV screen.

Didn't Have Certain Connection Needed Built On The TV. I have a Old xbox 360 and my Cables ( 3 incerts / Red, White, Yellow ) There Wasn't a Spot for Them. I Had to Buy a 2 End ( HDM1 ) cable for it to Work. But That's The Only Issue.

We are sorry if you have to purchase an HDMI to connect your Xbox with an RCA connection cable. You can use a 4 pole mini-plug RCA conversion cable (Analog Extension cable) to connect it to the X800H. Please check this link to follow the instructions on which type of connection you want to use.

I have Wifi and an HD antenna. It's just what I wanted. and I love how it turns off after no use of the remote. It's my bedroom TV and I think it knows when I fall asleep, then it turns off. Smart freakin TV
