He was very good about setting up and installing my new flat screen and my new router. Once he set them up, Angel did a great job at explaining how my new tv and my new router both work. He was very thorough and answered all of the many questions that I had. After he set up everything, he then cleaned everything up by putting all of the trash and not needed contents from the box back into the box and brought it down to his vehicle. I love my new tv and the router, and I am very happy with my Best Buy purchases and with Angel's wonderful service as a member of the Geek Squad. It was a very good customer experience for me. As TVs get bigger and bigger, it becomes difficult to find a premium quality TV at smaller to medium sizes, but Sony has come through with a beautiful TV that is smaller than 50". We previously had a 55" 8-series Samsung TV, but was simply too large for the room and overhung the edge of our TV shelf. I originally intended to buy the 43" Samsung QLED TV but the Sony stood out with a fantastic picture and better inputs and outputs than the other TVs I could find in this size category. The very small bezels on the X800H make the dimensions of TV so much smaller than I thought it would be and the picture appears to almost float. This TV is primarily used for videogames and the response time is really fast. Android TV is the best smart TV platform I have ever used and I prefer it to the Samsung system. Overall, I was shocked to get such a premium TV in this size.

Excellent as a PC Monitor

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up (43") to use as a large PC monitor for Flight Sim/Racing Sims, and it does the job. It's a little big for ordinary PC work if you are less than 3 feet away from it though, so I use it in a dual monitor setup with a smaller 27" mounted next to it. With the proper DP to HDMI adapter (make sure you get an active one that supports 4K@60Hz, not a passive one) and HDMI cable, I am running 4K at 60Hz/FPS. Desktop / text looks sharp. I also have a XB1X and PS4 Pro connected to it, and they look and run great too. Colors / brightness were all acceptable out of the box, and I did not feel the need to make any adjustments. All I did was make sure it was in game mode so the input lag was minimized. For twitchy games like shooters, I still prefer my 27" 144Hz monitor, so I have that set up on an arm that I can swing in front of this when I need it. Overall I am extremely happy with the purchase.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the second day I turned the TV on, there was no picture. Had to call Sony to help me get it back up and running. Easy to set up. Buttons on remote too close together and there is no back light. Good product, overall.

I mainly bought this TV for my XBOX. it Automatically knows to set the HDMI input to HDR more which is great. Like all 4K TV's it's best to put the picture settings into game mode as there is some serious input lag in anything other then game mode. Even decided to max out the reality creation, and live color for that "pop" then set my HDMI settings to FULL range and color space to "BT.2020" and sharpness set to zero. gotta say it makes games like warzone and Warframe look stunning! Downsides: might just be a new TV but when you turn it off the processor seems to forgot you have it set to full 4K at 60hz so when you turn it back on the console is locked at 60hz while the Tv is running at 30hz... So it has some visual screen tearing when navigating the menus. it also does not have a standard motion rate of 120 for that extra room for 4K so sometimes I see screen tearing during cutscenes and high action moments. But it is a great Tv

Wish it came with an RCA plug video/audio input or at least with the adapter which I had to buy. Would be nice if it came with 6 mm mounting screws as well. Plugging in a headphone jack kills the speaker audio. This is inconvenient if one person is hard of hearing and needs headphone boost and others want the speaker audio. The work around is to use the optical audio output with an adapter. Doable, but why should I have to? How about a switch either in software or near the plug?
