    SONY TVS ARE NO LONGER A BENCHMARK

    I purchased this Sony unit as well as a Samsung unit in 2020 during the pandemic. The Samsung is by far a better quality unit. I have had persistent issues with connectivity to WiFi service while the Samsung had none.

    For the price I think this is a good TV. I can't say that I am blown away by it. It has a nice selection of apps. Sometimes the internal software seems to freeze up and I have to unplug it to do a full reset, then it works fine again. I would probably go with Samsung if I have to buy another TV.

    this tv does is not worth asking price,.. no auto game mode.. the motion rate looks bad.. the colors are nice n bright,but there is always a grainy look.. overall you can do a lot better for cheaper.. dont buy this just because your a sony fan.

    I bought this product a month ago with great hope. It was easy to set up, had great color, and I looked forward to many years of enjoyment. I saw it advertised as suitable for a kid room, so I thought nothing of putting it in my combination sun room/kid room. 3 weeks after I purchased the tv, my 7 year old grandson tossed a cloth covered toy across the room which hit the bottom of the tv screen. Now, I have a 3 inch wide line going from bottom to top of my screen, and I feel this is the worst investment I ever made. If you purchase this, use it in a den, study, or adult bedroom, but not in a kid room. The screen is too fragile for kids.

    Not the best Bravia we have owned

    We’ve had this TV for a little while now and several times we have had issues being able to turn it off. It turns off and then comes right back on. We have unplugged it and tried to reboot it, don’t know if we would go with this model again.

      We're sorry to hear what happen. We recommend connecting the power cable directly to the walloutlet, not in a power strip or extension cord. Also, several conditions may cause a power issue that prevents your TV from turning on. If you experience power fluctuations, such as brownouts, blackouts, or temporary power loss, these conditions should be resolved before troubleshooting the TV.

    Sony Bravia 43 TV cannot connect to the Internet

    This TV cannot directly connect to the internet no matter what I’ve tried. I can only watch shows when it was connected to a Cable Box but once I removed the cable box and attempted to connect the Sony TV directly to apps such as Netflix or Showtime or any other app, I get an error there’s no internet. I have an older Samsung TV in my bedroom that has NO PROBLEM connected to the internet via my home network. I’ve been on the phone for hours with Sony Tech Support with no success. Best Buy Customer Service is basically useless when I called them.

The X900H boasts an impressive X1 4K HDR picture processor that preserves lifelike clarity and detail as the creator intended. With Full Array Local Dimming and TRILUMINOS Display, experience deeper black levels, greater contrast, and vibrant color from your favorite movies, TV shows, and games. We value your feedback regarding the picture quality of this TV. We would like to clarify if the issue occurs on all of the sources or the built-in applications on the TV like Netflix or YouTube. Picture settings is more of a personal preference. The quality of the source is also a big factor in getting an excellent picture quality. You can also make a few adjustments in the settings to enhance the picture quality. For streaming, quality depends on the original video provided by the video content provider and your connection bandwidth. To enjoy watching Internet streaming videos, a network with a fast and stable line speed is necessary. In general, speeds that resemble the following are necessary:

      Streaming standard definition (SD) Internet video: 2.5 Mbps
      Streaming high definition (HD) Internet video: 10 Mbps
      Streaming Ultra HD (4K) Internet video: 25 Mbps

      If you are watching from an external output like a cable box or your blu-ray please make sure that you have enabled the Enhanced Format setting on the TV. When you watch 4K picture with High-Quality, use a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable(s) that supports speeds of 18 Gbps.
