Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my second 43-inch Sony Bravia, replacing an 11-year old model that was still working fine - I just wanted to move up to a 'smart' TV and all the new functions it offers. The new TV has met all my expectations. Wonderfully crisp image, good sound, and direct connection to many apps. I haven't even begun to explore the android assistant functions. There was one criticism I read online before purchase, which is that the picture fades somewhat when viewed from side angles. This is in fact the case. But it is not a big issue for me, as the TV is used in a bedroom and we watch it pretty much head-on, not from the side. Overall, I am delighted with my new Sony Bravia, and I expect I will get at least as good use from it as I did from my pervious one.

The picture quoted is great and the color are vivid. I love everything about this television. My only downfall is occasionally you can not get cable channels and only a blank television will show.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't own this unit for more than 6 weeks, so it is too early to review it, So far i can tell that the picture is very good, but the brightness has been maxed out and sometimes I would like to get more of it. I could not find any "power saving" feature to increase the brightness, as suggested by the SONY team elsewhere and I cannot find the original suggestion to follow their instruction. Overall, I would rate this SONY unit as superior to all others in its class excluding its longevity, obviously. The feet on this unit are a problem, though, I had to buy a separate TV stand to mount this TV on, because the feet that come with this TV were just 1" short of my original stand where the old Samsung 40" was originally perched.

Great Picture/ Buggy Game Mode

I purchased this for use with an Xbox series x and gaming pc. Unfortunately I had to return this unit due to this models known issue with its game/ low latency mode. Even though the input was set as game and the picture mode set to game mode, every time the tv powered off the input lag for gaming would be horrible until the picture mode was changed out of game mode and put back to game mode. Sony seems to be aware of this issue and many review sights have mentioned it. If Sony can fix this issue with a firmware update the tv would easily receive 5 stars for its price point. For someone buying this tv for gaming it is a deal breaker. I would recommend this tv to someone who is not concerned with gaming.

We do recommend checking out our X900H and Z8H models that support the 4K 120 timings feature which is perfect for next-gen gaming consoles and gaming pcs.

As with all GoogleOS TV's it can take a while to boot up/start but it has all of the smart features/apps you would want. Seems more solid in terms of construction than the equivalent Samsung build.

We were told this company makes a good motion chip for watching sports programs. my family has found that to be true therefore, we are very satisfied with this product. It's also a great size for our room of use in our house! However, on May 27, 2021 @ 11 AM our unit lost voice or auto sound reception for the 1st time after working just fine for about a month. Called our cable/satellite provider about this issue they were able to reprogram our receiver/DVR box. Now this electronic device is working fine again. It's frustrating to have these types of devices or tools smarter then your customers.

Wow awesome almost OLED good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You know the old saying you get what you pay for well it always seems to ring true I tried to be cheap so I got an LG for 250$ same size same 4K but this tv far exceeded the performance of that one but the price is 500$ it’s better in every way the picture looks almost OLED and the android operating system is just better so easy to use the processor is way faster and did I mention the picture oh yes I did but it is that good it may be the addition of Dolby vision I don’t know but it just looks perfect even dvds look great and that is hard to do on 4K screens but the up converter is great if a 43inch tv is what you need this is the one to buy it just looks better than all the rest

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had just bought a Samsung 6 series,43" that had a superb picture on it, it was like you were on the set with the actors on in the landscape on a nature show, the picture was that real -but just a short time later lightning got it & the DVD player & several other appliances. To fit the space we needed the Sony was what was available. We'd heard many good things about the Sony, we were impressed by that. Plus it had the specs we wanted. The salesman also said it was the top of the line and was on sale! Usually I believe $699.99 & I think we got it at $599.99. Hook up was more complicated that we thought. It was a darker picture & had to turn we turned the bright setting all the way up. It was NOT the quality we'd expected. I'm getting messages all the time about updating & other things that I have no clue what it's talking about! I wish now we would have waited & got another Samsung!
