Thank you for your review, and we are sorry if the volume of the KD-43X80K didn't live up to your expectations. As for the sound, you have to consider that the loudness/volume and sound quality of the television is dependent on the source that you're playing. Quality depends on the original video provided by the video content provider and your connection bandwidth. You can configure various settings related to the TV’s sound such as sound quality and sound mode to isolate the problem. You may also try adjusting the volume of the TV and connected device to further isolate the issue. For instructions, please refer to the following link:

As a suggestion, you can configure various settings related to the TV’s sound such as sound quality and sound mode. Select the appropriate sound setting for your Google TV which best suits you. The sound quality may improve if you change it in [Sound] under [Settings].
Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, and select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Sound] — [Sound mode], and adjust [Sound mode] or [Sound customization].
