Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV to replace a Samsung I purchased less than 5 years ago & already died.I have a HD Bravia in my basement that I purchased 15-20 years ago running strong, survived 3 moves & still has an amazing picture. This one did not disappoint on picture or quality. It has a truly amazing picture, adequate settings to change sound & picture if you want. You can feel the quality as soon as you open the box. A couple cons include it does not come with common apps such as HULU or VUDU. I live on HULU. There’s no button on the remote for HULU. This was disappointing. I had to sign into google to get additional apps. Google track everything I do. I love the screensaver. You can see how amazing the picture is with continual scenes of nature. It was easy to set up & start watching. Where other brands fail Sony will succeed. When I told my son I purchased this he said you can’tgo wrong with a Sony.

A limited number of apps like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and Disney+ are available in Basic TV.
If you want to use certain advertised features, including voice to activate linked apps and install other apps such as Hulu and Vudu, you need to log in to your Google account and switch from basic TV to Google TV. We're sorry, but the Spectrum TV app is not currently available on the X80K series. As an alternative, you might consider connecting a laptop with an HDMI cable, streaming/casting devices, or modern consoles that support Spectrum TV app. You can also use the built-in Chromecast feature to cast the content from the Spectrum TV app on your mobile device to the TV.

I love that it’s a Google TV so I can just login to my Google account and easily manage my shows and apps that i want to watch. The picture is very clear and bright. And lastly the “action button” is much more functional than the older models. Always recommend Sony

A Good TV For A Room

The picture quality is pretty good. As a smart TV, you can connect to the internet (via ethernet cable or wirelessly) and download apps to display video content. There are HDMI ports to connect a cable box, DVD player or a soundbar.

Very impressed on how easy it was to set up the services(youtube, Netflix, etc.). The mic in the remote make youtube search easy. One down side is that there is no number pad so it took getting use to. Casting to the tv is easier with andriod phones since it is a google product and the supproted apps.

As for the lack of numeric pad, there is a number button on the remote (123 (Control menu) button - upper part) that will make a number pad appear on your television when needed for an easier access. My only complaint is that the instructions are often lacking and you have to go on line or call to get additional information, which I seriously hate. Overall, I would buy it again.

Bravia 43” LED TV

I wish they still offered a 37” or 40” since this one is pretty large for a smaller room, but it’s a great TV overall. Google TV interface works well too

It's mounted, in use, and visually, very difficult to discern the great quality and picture to the more expensive TVs I have. GREAT product. I'm happy. Other Smart TVs without the Google Operating system can't access the Google Store to get all the apps that work on Android, you're "stuck" in their stores that may, and may not, have the app you want or need. My LG TV became "useless" after 3 years because LG no longer makes newer apps available for their "older" TVs. Stick with Sony and stick with Android.

Great Tv, Small Complaint

I don’t have many complaints but one. The TV never fully turns off unless you hold down the power button on the TV itself. If not it’s just enters sleep mode. The apps also stay open in the background unless you force quit them in settings. Can be annoying but still a great Tv

I have no problems with the tv. What i have a problem with is best buy overcharged my best buy card and having such great difficulties getting that rectified.
