Picture quality and sound are pleasing to me. I don’t like the Google start up screen that delays getting to the TV. I use both the Sony TV remote and my FIOS remote to operate the TV which is not ideal but I live with it.

Your feedback regarding the Google start up and using both TV and FIOS remote is extremely important to us and is very much appreciated. In case you did not know, connecting your streaming devices via HDMI cable, and enabling the Control for HDMI (HDMI-CEC) on your streaming devices and BRAVIA sync function on the TV provides control functions between different A/V devices. It allows you to control CEC compatible devices with one remote control.

Installed in about 50 minutes using two people. Wall mounting was simple but does need two people to prevent possible damage to the tv. Picture is perfect and as good as the larger units.

The Roku still worked but it would power off and on by itself so I replaced it. This Sony 43 inch is very similar to the 65 in Sony I have in my living room. Great picture, nice sound, and tons of features. I really like the home screen and the functionality of the set so far.

One thing I don't care for is how the remote control's direct tune method is a little more cumbersome than in the past, and certain apps don't show in prime as they did with my last Sony. MLB for example. Also the power button is dark, and easily missed in low light.

Great tv for bedroom.

Only problem is I wish I knew I needed all my subscriptions with one email so didn’t have to create another profile for other subscriptions with my other email.

The picture quality is top-notch and picture settings are easy to use and very effective. The sound quality of the speakers is very good too. I like the Google TV operating system--it takes getting used to, but it's worth it. I really like this TV and plan to keep it. But I have had a couple of issues. I use a sound bar with the TV and it connects fine with HDMI/ARC. But the TV 'forgets' it sometimes--even though the Bravia Sync is in place. The TV will switch from the sound bar to the TV speakers on its own and it can be annoying...especially when I often hear no audio when this happens, and I have re-establish the sound bar as the preferred audio device. The other issue has been a tendency of the TV to lock up, or freeze on occasion. When this happens, nothing can be done with the remote, or with the physical button under the screen. All I can do is unplug the TV, then replug it and it's back to norma. This happened three times during the first 2 weeks I've had the TV. A couple of days ago there was another system update on the TV and I'm hoping it has at least fixed the freezing issue.

We're also sorry you've been running into difficulty. To make sure your TV runs as smooth as possible, we highly recommend downloading and installing the latest software for the TV.
As a workaround, you can set the Audio system prioritization to on. Press the Home button > go to Settings > Sound > Audio System prioritization. If enabled, this automatically switches the audio output to a BRAVIA Sync-compatible audio system when the TV is turned on.
