    I will only buy Sony TVs because other manufacturers can not give me the quality or dependable service I want. Yes they are a little more initially but they last . I recently bought a 43 inch and 70 inch for my business for training purposes and they do not disappoint.

    Native 120FPS support was the main reason I bought this. Works great with my PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S. The pre-installed OS and apps actually aren't frustrating or intrusive. I plan on holding onto this until OLEDs drop significantly in price.

    I love the tv. It has an amazing display, an easy user interface and great sound. The screen mirroring is limited to airplay, and it says screen mirroring is available thru other services, but I’ve had no success. Other than that, it’s a great budget tv.

    The GEEK Squad person brought and set-up the new Sony 43" TV and showed us how to use it. All good. After they left we had trouble with the sound after the picture came on. We have continued to have the problem with garbled sound. We need to have a Geek Squad member come to figure out why we continue to have garbled sound.

      Hi CarlMcDanielSonyTY, We regret to hear the issue with the TV. In this cae, please Check the antenna/cable connection. Keep the antenna/cable away from other connecting cables. Keep the TV away from electrical noise sources such as cars, hair-dryers, Wi-Fi units, mobile phones, or optical devices. When installing an optional device, leave some space between the device and TV.
      Set [Audio filter] to [Low] or [High] to improve sound for analog reception. ([Audio filter] may not be available depending on your region/country.)

    Got it for 599.00 after Black Friday. Great mid range Tv for the price. Idk if I recommend it at full price eith is 799 I believe. Software is very easy to use. google TV Od. Blacks aren’t as black as I wish they would be tho

    Overall excellent TV, especially for the price. However the sound in the TV is terrible, and the speakers are on the back (which makes it even worse). Definitely need a sound bar, or speakers, in addition.

    Very nice picture. Still need to find new cord for plugging in DVD player. A diagram of the cords needed for attaching various devices is on a separate sheet.

    If you’re wanting a great TV for console gaming then buy this. Absolutely. If you’re looking to use it as a 4K 120hz monitor then walk away. This panel only supports 4K 60hz and has no free sync or anything. 4K 120 on PC is extremely blurry and image quality is garbage. Once in a game then it’s fine but until the TV senses a dedicated image processor being used then it stays blurry.

The X85J supports features specified in HDMI 2.1 such as the 4K120, eARC/ARC, ALLM, and VRR(VRR will be available via a future firmware update). To set the TV HDMI® signal format to Enhanced format for your source device to recognize the 4K 120Hz capability of the TV. Make sure your device is connected to the HDMI 3 or HDMI 4 input on the TV using the supplied Certified Premium HDMI cable.

      1. Select Settings → Watching TV → External inputs → HDMI signal format.

      2. Select the input the device is connected to (either HDMI 3 or HDMI 4), and then change the setting to Enhanced format.

    Excellent TV. Setting up was good. Finding a eyehole machine screw to secure it to the wall, very hard. For what we paid, it should have come with 4.

    My friend bought an x90j it was awesome, this x85j is gorgeous the 4k is clear and vibrant. My only con is the speakers are average but for the price of an x85j its worth the price.

    This TV was an excellent pick for Xbox Series. If you want Dolby Vision and 120 fps, just wait a bit longer or look elsewhere though. However, everything else for next gen gaming is right here!
