    Meh... after purchasing a Sony OLED TV, i decided to buy a Sony TV for the bedroom. Unfortunately, the smallest OLED in the market is a 48", which is to big for what i was looking for. So instead i opted for this X85J TV. Boy was i disappointed. The LED TVs are nowhere near the same quality as the OLED, and for the price i paid for this TV, i was expecting more. Get a Samsung, which are cheaper.

With an Object-based HDR remaster, the color in individual objects on-screen is analyzed and the contrast adjusted, unlike most TVs where contrast is only adjusted along one black-to-white contrast curve. Because objects are remastered individually, this TV can reproduce greater depth, textures, and more realistic pictures.

    Good TV with one exception. When viewing from an angle, the picture washes out. The greater the angle, the worse the picture becomes. I have an older LG that this TV was purchased to replace and that LG has no degradation of the picture quality when viewed at an angle. At the price of this TV I expected more. Wish I had bought an LG and saved a good bit of money as well.

    Really tried hard to love this TV due to spec... but dark spots at corners(bleed) was too much noticeable especially during white scene

    I had to return this tv back. The main reason I did it was the bad glare I can see myself watching TV it really bother me. I was using this in my bedroom and it sits opposite of the window. It works great in the dark. But for the price it's a hard no fir me. My Vizio from last year worked even better on glare

However, this TV supports Light Sensor. On conventional TVs, brightness stays the same regardless of the light in a room, resulting in pictures that are too dark or bright. This TV includes a light sensor that optimizes picture brightness to room conditions, boosting brightness in light rooms and reducing it to dark ones so you get the perfect view. Our unique ambient optimization technology with a light sensor automatically adjusts pictures and sound to your environment.
