    I purchased this TV because it's one of the only available in this size that can theoretically handle 4K/120hz, Dolby Vision and VRR. I've also had good experiences with Bravia models in the past. Unfortunately, after setting it up I found that the TV was unable to display true 4K in any picture mode except 'Graphics'. In all other picture modes (including the two automatic Dolby Vision modes), the 4K signal was displayed using every other pixel, resulting in a crosshatch pattern and loss of detail. I tried every possible solution - changing cables, different devices, enabling enhanced inputs, other picture settings, factory reset, etc. - with the same result. I've seen some people report the same problem, while others say everything is fine - which makes me wonder if some just don't notice it, or if it's actually a hardware issue with some individual sets. Either way, this was a dealbreaker for me, so I just ended up returning it and purchasing another model. I was disappointed to say the least, because otherwise it would have been a great TV.

You will need to set the TV HDMI® Signal format to Enhanced format for your source device to recognize the 4K 120Hz capability of the TV. When connecting a video game console that supports 4K 120Hz and VRR, check the label of the HDMI input ports on the TV and connect to the HDMI input port that is labeled 4K 120Hz or 4K 120Hz 8K, or connect to the HDMI input port that is displayed as [Enhanced format (4K120, 8K)] or [Enhanced format (VRR)] for HDMI signal format]. Make sure your device is connected to the HDMI 3 or HDMI 4 input on the TV using the supplied Certified Premium HDMI cable.
      Select Settings → Watching TV → External inputs → HDMI signal format.
      Select the input the device is connected to (either HDMI 3 or HDMI 4), and then change the setting to Enhanced format.

    Picture is good, but their implementation of Google TV is very bad. Neither YouTube TV nor Paramount + apps will stream with 5.1 audio. They work fine on a ChromeCast with Google TV. Sony will tell you it isn't their problem and "this isn't our best TV". Very disappointing
