Good, but not for competitive gaming, bought this tv to go with my Xbox series x since it’s the smallest hdmi 2.1 120hz tv on the market, it has a great picture quality but when playing a competitive FPS game there is just too much blur, you can fix it a little bit in the settings but enabling some of the features causes a lot of input lag, I ended up returning and going with a monitor

Awesome TV! Rendition of video and pics are excellent. I use a Sony stereo to enhance the sound. Remote control integration works well across the Sony components.

I use this TV everyday for gaming and watching movies. I love it! It allows me to play 120 FPS on my Fortnite game using my Xbox series x. Huge plus!! Colors are awesome, no regrets!!

I have been Samsung tv fan for over 10 years due to the price and quality in comparison with Sony. When my ps5 arrived I had to upgrade tvs as my 2011 Samsung was obsolete with the newest and future features. I went with a Samsung q60 to realize it had no hdmi 2.1 . I caught the Sony x85j which was the smallest size I found and included the 2.1 and continued firmware to further meet the ps5 and its full capability. I caught it on sale and it ended up identically priced with the Samsung, but without tweaking setting, I immediately saw the difference between the sets. I’m sure the higher end Samsung still would suit my taste but this Sony as my bedroom gaming tv has been an unexpected boon after seeing what the similarly priced and sized Samsung was capable of.

I used this for over a year as a PC gaming monitor and for my ps5. It is now set up for my wife who for the first time ever actually noticed a difference in picture quality when I hooked it up for her

I bought this as a dual purpose display. First and foremost as a computer monitor. Which it works great for. Enabling the Variable Refresh Rate was hidden in the menus and required an update of the software. Secondly as TV for viewing DVD's, mostly Blu-ray and UHD Blu-ray movies. It works great for both purposes. There are 4 HDMI ports. 1 and 2 are HDMI 2.0 (up to 4K @ 60Hz) 3 is HDMI 2.1 w/ eARC (4K @ 120Hz with return audio) and 4 is 4K @ 120Hz. Keep in mind that higher end HDMI cables are required for 4K@ 120Hz. I am totally satisfied with this TV. I had considered Computer monitors of this approximate size and resolution/refresh rate. However those all cost more money and were not as flexible in their usage.

Amazing picture for price point! Ignore any bad reviews you might’ve seen prior to reading this. Whoever wrote bad reviews of this TV probably bought the cheaper model. This is an excellent TV from Sony! Especially with 120h refresh rate. Movies, sports & gaming= great! Well worth the extra cash for faster performing LCD panels and the X1 processor found in premium models from Sony. Sony delivers images that are crisp, sharp & life like. Not fake or cartoonish similar to those found in Samsung displays and any other cheap brand. Excellent job Sony again! We’ll worth extra $$$ for build/performance quality. Thanks! Matt

Excellent picture quality especially for sports with no lag time in fast paced games like hockey. Easy to use menu for selection of apps an other features. Casting to the TV is fast from my IPhone. Great value for the money!

Bought for Xbox Series X (most notably Warzone, Rocket League). NOW that I know what to do in order to get 4k @ 120hz, I am going to share for everyone... On TV, navigate to where you can edit the HDMI format... for Xbox Series X, DO NOT select "Enhanced Format (Dolby Vision)", just "Enhanced Format". Go back to Xbox Display Settings, Change to 4k, change to 120hz and BOOM, all set. Make sure to go to other settings and allow HDR, etc. Took me forever to figure this out. Now that I know, easy 5 stars. Clarity, color, speed, detail, absolutely amazing. Enjoy.

This is a really nice TV. The 43" size is perfect for a small apartment. It was so easy to set up, you just have to turn it on and the onscreen menu walks you through it step by step. The picture is so clean and clear especially sports and movies. The sound for a small room is good, no need for a sound bar. I would have no problem recommending this TV to anyone.

Always loved Sony products. They’ve always been dependable. My last Sony TV lasted more than 20 years which finally broke down and made me purchase this new TV. I was looking for something that would fit the tv stand I had for my bedroom. This one was perfect. Very easy to set up and user friendly. And the picture is very clear and colorful. I particularly wanted a Sony brand since it’s proven to last for so many years with no problems. A great investment purchase with great quality. Sony sometimes may costs more compared to other brands, but it’s well worth it in the long run,

Great TV - got it for my PS5. I couldn’t go bigger than 43 inches and this was the only option with hdmi 2.1 and 120hz. Very happy with the purchase. The picture is outstanding.

Perfect for us. Picture is clear and very detailed. Works with DVR and streams wonderfully. Hearing aid accessories are easily hooked up to this tv for hard of hearing person in home.

I haven't bought a Sony TV since my ancient Sony 60" WEGA SXRD. An experience that lost me as a customer. This will replace a bedroom TV, It has excellent picture worthy of the Sony name. I used to sell Sony as a brand years ago, It was my GoTo as a brand because of quality and reputation. I believe that this television will restore my faith in Sony, its ease in setup and installation along with the intuitive menus made it simple to set up without a owners manual. BTW did I mention that the picture quality is stellar?

Great TV for gaming on a budget has 4k 120Hz and VRR

I really like this tv. The picture is amazing. Sound is pretty good and combined with surround sound stereo it’s fantastic. Remote is huge which I don’t love but works well. The operating system is really easy to use and the voice control is pretty good. I tried Samsung first but the on air tv looked bad, this tv does a great job of upscaling broadcast shows. I had a Phillips 720p tv before so this is a huge jump in quality. No annoying ads. So yes it’s expensive but for a 43 inch tv this is about as good as it gets. Oled doesn’t get this small so I think this is the best for a 43 inch today.

I absolutely love this tv. It is clear and sharp. The TV from Best Buy was on sale and it was a great sale. The quality is superior to other brands.

The TV looks spectacular. The settings guide is great. It automatically sets the sound settings to the acoustics of your room. You just go to settings and hold your remote towards the TV for about 5 seconds. My Xbox series s looks great on it. The sound is great. It's fast and very simple to use. It's great for a novice or someone looking for a little more from their TV. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to upgrade to a high frame rate and 4k HDR.

Bought new Sony for bedroom viewing and very pleased with simple set up and picture quality. Great price on great TV!
