I'm using the Xbox series X with this display so it's not completely compatible, but the Xbox can turn on and off the tv. The 4k 120hz refresh rate makes it perfect for gaming and the price is worth it.

As a TV it is very nice. The color is very nice and for something like a PS5 or Xbox Series X it's great. Sound is fine and it has Google TV as the "smart" component. All of those are great. However, if you're like me and you were hoping to use this for a PC monitor then I encourage you to look elsewhere. No matter the settings or the firmware updates this TV WILL NOT DISPLAY TEXT IN WINDOWS CLEARLY WITH 120Hz ACTIVE PERIOD END OF STATEMENT. For just gaming it is fine and in line with using a console, but if you are trying to do any kind of productivity or browsing etc you're gonna hate it. The text is just blurry unless you run Windows scaling up to 300% which you won't do. So, again this is a great TV for being a TV and a horrible monitor for PC.

Great Remote Control

I was able to get it to control both the TV and the AT&T satellite tuner after setup, so only one remote control is needed. It also has good picture and sound quality.

Sony makes very good TV machines. Amazingly lightweight as well. But be careful, as I found with my last Sony, these TV machines can be very fragile.

However, you can configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size. Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — the desired option.

There are many other tv’s that perform just as well for less money (plenty of professional reviews out there), but I decided to go with this one based on feedback and recommendations from Best Buy employees. I was not disappointed. So far this tv has exceeded my expectations for this price range despite lacking VRR support (will be released in a software update by Sony). The picture quality is good, the blacks are deep, the contrast ratio and brightness are good for me. The size is perfect my my use as I have it in a bonus room which is a bit narrow than a normal bedroom. 4k streaming and PS5 gameplay is great. I’m using the eArc HDMI port with my PS5 which automatically detects the signal and changes the input to my console. While this might not be the best tv out there for gaming, I’m thoroughly enjoying it for my needs. Sound quality is better than expected as well coming from LG tvs.

The Sony really looks good and sounds better than did the dead "Pany" but I have annoyances with the software and hardware. The Android needs a larger memory capacity and the included software has a few "under thought" included apps. The timer function is a "classic" example. You can set an integer minute start time but the timer only accepts integer hour "durations" instead of simply repeating the start time algorithm as the off time. Getting to your downloaded "Apps" was made into the longest software path. But as you read this, it is all software annoyances. The physical hardware makes it all very worth while as will the expected reliability.

I went to venom in imax just to find out it’s the same quality if not worse than this TV, and only for Sony to plug how dope of a TV it is 5 times in that movie cause they made it lol. I kinda wish I got a bigger size but I sit really close to it anyways. I also got Disney plus to find more HDR content like the mandolorian, Godzilla on HBO was crazy, and then with the upscaling and upmotion tech even fairlyyyy old movies look like they’re 4k HDR Literally yesterday they just released the update to have VRR support (go into the video settings to turn it on, the 120hz support is in the same place) Pc gaming with a controller on the couch is delicious.
