I purchased this TV several months ago before the Olympics. It has a great picture, the remote is easy to use, and is just the perfect size. As of now, I would certainly recommend this TV.

I purchased this TV over another brand; because of my past experience with Sony. It was a bit more, but I felt it was worth it.... Set-up was easy and good quality picture

This sony smart tv is as easy to set up as it is to buy. It is sunlight and the longest time it takes is to actually set up your channels. No problems at all and the set up is super easy.

Upgrading to Sony 48" from an older Sony 32". Paid $1600 for the old one, $400 for the new one. Bigger, much sharper HD picture plus WiFi features are big improvement. On the downside, dumbed-down connections on the back have fewer hook-up options. Doesn't even have L/R audio out jacks, so doesn't have a suitable output to my Sony 5.1 surround system. TV only has digital out, sound system (still a current model) only has L/R inputs. Check your connection needs carefully before selecting this model. Two HDMI jacks are about all you get. If you have a cable box, Blu-Ray player & sound system, you come up short.

My main concern was to not have a power light since this was for the bedroom. This was one of very few that was acceptable. The picture is beautiful with only an antenna (no cable )

Great TV. No problems setting this up and we have enjoyed watching this great picture. Only problem is that it is a smart TV but has no browser built into it to surf the internet.

Samsung always puts out top quality products. Which includes this 49" suhd tv. Highly recommend this product and would add a Xbox One S to complete the whole entertainment package.

My last TV was a Sony and I wanted another Sony because I like the brand. The picture is sharp and clear and the sound is good. I only watch HD TV and this TV is excellent for HD.

I'm 71 years old and have been a Sony fan for years. The TV was on sale and I couldn't pass up the purchase. It's got fantastic sound and an auxiliary sound bar is unessessary.

Nothing but positive feedback on this tv, I bought it to use in my spare bedroom and it was easy to mount to my wall mount hardware as well as the setup was simple. Great buy

Although it's not a smart tv, I wish it was but I still give it 5 stars because it's so thin & the quality is very good. It pairs well with Apple TV and also the Sony sound bar.

This is a great smart HD TV for the money, excellent picture. The sound from the built-in speaker is OK but not best.

Couldn't believe the difference in the colors from this new TV compared to even a larger TV by Sony this is 5 yrs old.. improvements just keep coming like the bunny/battery.

Great picture with lots of features for under $400. The picture is crisp, bright and clear with 120 refresh rate. I just set it up and I'm so satisfied with the quality.

I currently had a Samsung dvd/speaker system that wouldno hook up well with the new Sony tv. Once I up graded to a Sony Blu Ray speaker system it syncs perfectly

I'm not particular with TVs but I do want them to be HD. This unit is worth every penny. Just the right size and the resolution is awesome! Lightweight and easy to use.

My 1st Smart TV and I really like it. Setup was quick, great picture and sound. Really like the WiFi and the ability to stream without another piece of equipment to hook up.

I absolutely love my TV. Especially the fact that I can log into my pandora and listen to my choice of music straight from my television. I definitely recommend this tv.

You can never go wrong with a Sony product, and this TV didn't disappoint. It has excellent picture quality, and it was a great bargain for under $500.00 after taxes.

We had a 39 in TV that stopped working so we got a 48 in to replace it. That little difference in size is nice.
